<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NFL.com)</div><div class='quotemain'>Looking to get back into the fourth round of this weekend's NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys on Friday traded linebacker Akin Ayodele and tight end Anthony Fasano to the Miami Dolphins for a fourth-round pick, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter. The Cowboys traded their own fourth-rounder to the Tennessee Titans earlier in the week to acquire cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones.

Ayodele, who was Dallas' starting weakside inside linebacker for the past two years, lost his job when the Cowboys acquired seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Zack Thomas in free agency.

Ayodele signed a five-year, $17.5 million free-agent contract with the Cowboys in 2006 after spending the first four years of his NFL career with Jacksonville. He was fourth on the team in tackles last season with 95.

Fasano, a backup to Jason Witten, caught 14 passes in each of his two NFL seasons. He had shoulder surgery in January.</div>

So we trade two average players for a high 4th rounder; neither were starters. More so, I'm intrigued if this could be part of some bigger plan of Jerruh.

If Jerry is already wheeling and dealing in the 4th a day before the draft starts you've got feel that something big could happen.

For a team that doesn't have picks until 22, its going to be an exciting day starting at around the 4th overall.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans are on the clock with their Pacman Jones trade.

How fast that clock is ticking depends on who you talk to.

The deal still wasn't finalized Friday, two days after the teams agreed in principle and the eve of the NFL draft. The Titans are supposed to get Dallas' fourth-round pick and another pick next year for the rights to the suspended cornerback.

    Jones

"Clearly it's got to be done tomorrow or else it becomes academic," said Jones' agent, Manny Arora.

Not so fast, says Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple. He said the teams were still working out details and that the deal didn't have to be complete before the draft.

The fourth round of the draft isn't until Sunday.

"There's no set timetable or anything," Dalrymple said.

The Titans declined to provide any update Friday on the trade's progress. On Thursday, general manager Mike Reinfeldt cautioned that it was a complicated deal.

If the Jones deal goes through, the Cowboys still don't know if he'll play for them this season. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said he'll decide whether to reinstate Jones by training camp in July and that any trade won't influence him.</div>

Or perhaps this helps the Pacman deal go through ....tonight!

So before the draft starts we have traded Fasano, Ayodele, a low 4th, and a conditional 2nd day pick for Pacman Jones and the first pick in the 4th round. hey hey, hey.

Jerry Jones marketing of his team is obviously working. He is even pulling fans from his division rivals' market.

I like the trade for both teams, Miami gets two starters and Dallas gets another pick if they want to trade up in the draft and get a star.

i like the deal for the Dolphins....Adoyele is a vet with a lot of starting xp but still just 28 years old, so hes got some gas left in the tank....Fasano is very intriguing in my opinion....hes just 24 years old, hes clearly got starting TE talent and he wasnt going to unseat Witten in Dallas...overall the Dolphins got 2 starters for a 4th round pick and the Cowboys got a 4th round pick, for 2 guys that were likely to be backups, so win-win for both teams....

Ayodele was on the chopping block anyway. We already have 4 ILBs in Thomas, James, Burnett, and Carpenter.

What pisses me off, is trading Fasano.

Initially I was worrisome about trading Fasano, too. He was a second round pick not too long ago.

But think about who drafted him: Parcells. Why? To run a new 2-TE set. It never really happened; certainly not in a way that made it our primary offensive set.
