Every day the BBC does a short wite-up of the days biggest football gossip. Some of it Sustainable some not. I'll post the full article here and comment on the big ones.

Having captured Croatia star Luka Modric, Tottenham are targeting Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, Espanyol keeper Carlos Kameni and Celtic midfielder Aiden McGeady. (Daily Mirror)
They have actually signed Modric. Something stupid like £15.4Mil. Eto'o is a very big player. Maybe to big for Spurs. I can see him going somewhere but England. Possibly Valencia. With them doing really bad this season and Villa looking Elsewhere (Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs to name a few) they'll have plenty of money and could go for him possibly. Remember if it does happen you read it here first.

Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva is being chased by Roma after deciding to end his six-year stay at the Gunners. (Daily Mail)
Not much i can say about this. The big man looks to be going. Lets hope we can keep Flamini or else Diaby will fit in. He is a good player but i don't know if they can create the same partnership that Flam and Fabregas had. Random Fact: Flamini runs an average of 12 miles a game!!!

Manchester United could lose out to Barcelona in the chase for full-back Philip Lahm. (Daily Mail)
Wouldn't be too much of a blow for United. They already have enough CB's

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is refusing to rule out bringing Thierry Henry back to the club from Barcelona. (Various)

West Ham are close to signing 17-year-old defender Holmar Orn Eyjolfsson from HK Kopavogur. (Times)

Portsmouth's Pedro Mendes looks set to move back to Portugal after putting his house up for sale in Poole. (Daily Express)
Wow. If he were to come back imagine the hype. But i have a feeling he'll be detirmend to make it work in Barca

Liverpool's England striker Peter Crouch could still be a target for FA Cup finalists Portsmouth. (Daily Express)
Lot of Speculation over Crouchy latley. Newcastle seem to be able to splash the cash so i think they'll be favourites to secure him.

Eto'o to play for the Spurs?

I think it has everything to do with Ramos.

Not sure about that, but I like how they're going after players, and being active in the free agent market.
