Someone who can hit an open 3.

During the Jason Kidd era, and now in the Devin Harris era, the Nets have no shortage of open looks from 3.

Boki has hit his fair share, but he can't do it alone. If he's cold, there is no one else. Last year, House and Boki balanced each other out. The Nets need another...

    Who's available?

Um. I doubt we'll be able to pick up a shooter outside of the draft. I mean, this is Rod Thorn we're talking about.

    Prepare to be disappointed. :\

Kareem Rush or get lucky with a rookie.

Remember how sure we were about Wrights range in the draft though?

Well Barry went to the Spurs, and I'm sure if the Nets had been winning championships they'd have been able to attract him.

Kapono got a huge contract of 24 mill over 4 years. So I don't Thorn wanted to pay Kapono that much when they have RJ and Vince Carter taking up most the minutes.

Hoiberg, I dunno, the Nets could have probably got him lol. He just liked the Wolves organization and had a heart problem so he couldn't continue.

Since you guys are planning on trading RJ, and Toronto needs a wing and a 2nd scorer behind Bosh (RJ fits both criteria), why don't Toronto do a trade revolving around Kapono and RJ? Kapono has been stepping it up and fits a need.

Deep shooting off the bench has never been a priority. Closest they came was House.

Nets dont seem to want to pay players who do nothing but shoot from deep.

Boki shot 43.2% from deep in 2006-07. They thought he could duplicate that. He couldn't. They made an offer to Roger Mason. He went back to the Wiz.

Spending $4 million on Magloire when they could have spent it on Posey was a huge mistake. Celts outbid them for Posey and House because they had already spent money on Magloire.

    Thorn got the priorities wrong.

Obviously Kapano could not be the centerpiece of such a deal. But a package starting with Anthony Parker and Kapono might be worth looking at.

No to Kapono. He makes Boki look like Bruce Bowen.

And as much as I LOVE Parker, he's too old to trade RJ for.

I'm sure JJ Redick is available. Cheap!

JR Smith is our shooter of the bench and he will be commanding 4 years 24mil....

I was watching him in the playoffs today and he is going to be a good player in this league. If we get a veteran coach to teach him how to play defense he can be kobe like. Offer him the starting job at shooting guard and move vince to small forward and trade rj. If not have JR backing up those two and we will have our wing problem solved.

Hedo is a hero in Orlando.

There's a better chance of getting Kobe than him.

If Smith tried to make that deal Stern would have to send him to the same place the odd socks go that get lost in the dryer and Giuliani sent the homeless people in Times Square. (I assume it's the same place.)
