Ozzie pulled off a genius trade by getting 2 3rd rounders and a 4th.

I'm in happy we drafted Rice, him and McGahee are going to be fun to watch. I don't know much about Joe Flacco though. All i heard is that he has a strong arm and a big body.

I don't see what they like about Flacco. IMO, he seems too familar to Boller when he was drafted. They also should have stayed back at 28(?) and gotten Henne.

BTW, I like the Ray Rice pick but it was more of a luxury pick. McGahee and him will make a great duo but the line wasn't addressed as much as I thought compared to the secondary.

Decent draft, not anything special. Not a huge fan of QB's since I believe Troy Smith should be given a chance.

For the most part, I liked the Ravens draft. Give it a B/B-. After the first two picks on day 2, you got the idea that they were building for depth. Something this team lost over the years. But taking Flacco gives off the impression that they're building for the future. And I mean, if you're getting depth in the draft and take the QB that needs time to develop? Doesn't make sense to me. Henne (who I wanted regardless of how they approached the draft) or even Brohm are more polished and are ready to play sooner and would've fit better. Thought they should've gotten more from Jax. At least another 2nd, or 1 next yr. 26 to 8 is a big jump. I also thought Houston suckered them into dealing with them, because in Ozzie's words, Texans told him "they think" someone might take Flacco.

Loved the Ray Rice pick. As mentioned, gives this team a potentially good tandem in he and McGahee. Everyone knows it's a two back league and only RBs on the roster is Cory Ross and PJ Daniels. I think this is the Harbaugh influence on the team. Billick for the most part liked giving it to 1 guy. I also liked the late pick of Allen Patrick. Either be a guy who gets limited carries, fills in for an injury or KR.

LB Tavares Gooden gives the team something behind Ray and Scott along with Burgess/Griesan. Can play inside or even out and has a lot of talent. I could really see him becoming a potential starter down the line, too.

S Tom Zbikowski. This is another pick I thought Harbaugh had something to do with, because of type of player/personality he is. Ravens also literally had nobody behind Reed and Landry. While Landry had a good rookie season at SS, he slipped quite abit last yr. This will give him competition, and I could see Zbikowski taking his job eventually. This might have been the perfect team for him. Oniel Cousins pick, it's some depth at OT or G. I don't know enough about Marcus Smith, David Hale, or Haruki Nakamura to comment. Justin Harper was a decent pick, not sure how he will contribute.

Also, don't forget about 4th for CB Fabian Washington. I liked this move. Immediate upgrade as the Nickel back.

Haruki is a bit undersized, but a hell of a football player. He has great balance (most of his family is very high degreed in judo) and is a very good tackler.

I absolutely loved watching him for 4 years at UC.
