I got this idea from an mma site and thought it’d be fun to try. I know there are several hard core MMA fans and some casual fans but since this is for fun, I’d like to see anyone who enjoys the sport to join in and give it a try. The idea; Every MMA fighter in the world is a free agent! You’re starting up an organization and you’re the GM.. you can think of yourself as mini-Dana White! You job is to draft fighters and build an organization that not only has great fighters but talent that will draw in the fans and make you some $$$. You can build your organization however you like. So with each pick you post, you can make your case as to why you chose the fighter and if you want give some insight to your drafting strategy (but not too much ) At the end we’ll post each Org’s roster and each GM can post a case for why their org will work and we'll vote to see who's come out on top. (Please feel free to name your organization too if you want ) I’m hoping to get at least 5 guys signed up, 10 would make it much more interesting. I’d like to do 10-15 rounds, I’ll cut it of if it dies out before we reach 15 rounds. Once you post your draft pick and rational behind the pick, please PM whomever drafts next so we can keep it moving. I’ll be sending PM’s too. I’d like to see a pick a day if possible. If you notice the person ahead of you has drafted, go ahead and make your pick. Drafting format will be 1-10, 10-1 style, draft order is to be determined. Questions? Thoughts? Ideas? alright, I'll give it some more time today then do a draw for the draft order. i'm hoping to get at least 10 rounds done, a full live fight card! if we are going along well, we can fill out the undercard for our fight orgs too
