    Barkley is an ass clown, period. Doesn't matter who it's towards. Funny commment by him though today about Kobe, I'd have to unfortunately agree with Chuck.

    You saw how Kobe got Fish and Lamar some crucial shots down the stretch, he should have kept doing that and we would have won the game, plain and simple.
    </div>

    No, Farmar's worse than Radman.

    Radman's had the best individual peaks out of the three this season too. Too bad he's inconsistent.
    </div>

    You're right, they're both doing disgustingly bad, I guess Farmar should be at the top of the list followed shortly by Radmanovic

    I think Farmar is worse because he's much more crucial to this team, right now. We've got no one at point when Fisher needs a rest or gets into foul trouble. At the SF, we can slide Kobe there, slide Odom there, or bring in Luke.

    This series is probably gonna hit 7. It seems like home court is gonna win each of the next 3 games.

    I would have said MAYBE 6 if Kobe didn't irritate his back, so I'm going to say 7.

    We didn't sign Newble to keep the bench warm, that's what Coby Karl is there for (sorry Coby). Phil needs to give dude some burn in Game 5 and cut his losses on Farmar, for reals.

    Newble is 6'7, throw him or Sasha on Deron or something when Fisher isn't in the game, seriously. Deron gains way too much momentum against Farmar and in return that gets the Jazz all fired up and gives them confidence, especially at home.

    Game 5 is gonna be really interesting. I mean, damn, if we lose Game 5, just imagine, up 2-0, then down 3-2 going BACK TO UTAH. After all this talk about our championship contender season.

    To say Game 5 is a must-win is an understatement.

    I was thinking the same thing while watching today. Give Newble some burn on Deron. Deron is a huge PG, that's part of the reason why Farmar looks like trash right now. Even Sasha can't stop him, he's not bulky enough. That pesky defense of Sasha can only get you so far.

    I'm pretty worried about Kobe's back. But a lot of times with back injuries, when you cool down and stop moving is when it really flares up. I'm hoping that's the case and that was the reason why Kobe couldn't stand on the flight home. I expect him to go on Wednesday, I just hope he is efficiently effective.

    I have a feeling this will be a home series, because both teams role players seem to dissapear on the road. Hopefully Kobe's back will be better with the extra rest, because I really don't want to see Utah/S.A. western conference final again.

    barkley shreds everyone (try being a rockets fan, haha)....it's his job, lol....don't take it personal. He LOVES Kobe Bryant and constantly praises him as the best player in the game.......

    How the hell did Fisher cool off if he didn't even get shot attempts? Kobe was shooting all the jumpshots and it took everyone out of rhythm.

    Huevon, how do you justify every bad game Kobe has? THat's incredible to me...</div>

    I do... i even get bashed for it whenever Kobe costs us games...

    I was only able to 'listen' to the OT part of the game and just found out he was injured... but the way i see it... yea he cost us the game...

    Kobe had a bad game, but like Phil said, his teammates bailed on him and looked for Kobe to bail him out.

    Odom had a great game, but towards the end of games he disappears and stops being aggressive. Don't get me wrong, I loved Odom's game yesterday and I felt like he should've been more aggressive in the 1st half and towards the end of the game, especially in overtime. He was getting to the hoop at will, but he didn't demand the ball. Kobe isn't a stupid player, he'll pass you the ball if you move on offense. What you can't do is dump him the ball and watch him, that forces a bad shot. (granted, Kobe took some stupid shots yesterday).

    Farmar bailed way earlier in the year.

    I'm banking on Ariza returning soon.

    If Ariza comes back, we don't need a 100% Kobe yet. Also, we got a guy who, I think, can shut down Deron if Fish gets in foul trouble.

    Kobe Bryant said his lower back, which he injured in Game 4 on Sunday in Salt Lake City, was "sore, tight and stiff."

    "I'll play [Wednesday]. I can't imagine it'll be any worse than it was last night. It was pretty bad," he said.

    Bryant will undergo round-the-clock treatment the next two days involving electrical stimulation, ice, heat, massage and stretching exercises.

    "I'd be surprised if he's not capable of shooting," Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said. "I'm not concerned at all. I haven't spent any time thinking about it. Either he'll recover or he'll not recover. I have to prepare this team to play.

    Lakers F Trevor Ariza, who hasn’t played since breaking his right foot in practice Jan. 20, was cleared Tuesday to practice with no restrictions. “The bone is not completely healed, but it’s healed as much as it’s going to heal,” team spokesman John Black said, adding the chances of Ariza breaking the same bone again are remote. Jackson said no timetable has been set on when Ariza might play in a game. “We’ll just see what he can do. Vlade’s not played well in the last two games,” Jackson said, referring to Vladimir Radmanovic, the Lakers’ starting small forward. “(Ariza) plays that position. We’ll see if Vlade can’t right his game here.”

    The Snowboarding Space Cadet is on official notice to step up.

    Meh, I won't really be able to enjoy this game with my paperwork. :/

    Hopefully Kobe's healthy enough today.
