Here is the list of undrafted signees going to Minnesota. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Vikings this year...hopfully crushing thier way to the NFC North title!!!

Well, the feeding frenzy for players that weren't selected with any of the draft's 253 picks has started, and somebody had better call Mr. French and/or Mary J. Blige, because the Vikings have made this a family affair.

According to Judd Zulgad of the Star-Tribune, here are the Undrafted Free Agents that the Vikings have agreed with:

    Husain Abdullah S Washington State
    Martail Burnett DE Utah
    Leger Douzable DT Central Florida
    Marcus Griffin S Texas
    Steven Hauschka K NC State
    Erin Henderson LB Maryland
    Nate Jones WR Texas
    Travis Key CB Michigan State
    Jeremy ā€œJā€ Leman LB Illinois
    Tim Mattran C Stanford
    Drew Radovich T USC
    Darius Reynaud WR West Virginia
    Brandon Sumrall CB S Mississippi
    Marcus Walker CB Oklahoma
    Kyle Wright QB Miami (Fla.)
    Albert Young RB Iowa

Erin Henderson is the younger brother of Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson, while Marcus Griffin is the younger brother of Tennessee Titan Michael Griffin. Erin attended the same college as his older brother did. Gee. . .you suppose the Vikings had the inside track on that signing?

Looking at where The Sporting News had each of them ranked, Reynaud was listed as their 15th best WR and the highest WR not drafted. Henderson was their 8th ranked outside linebacker. Leman was the #13 inside linebacker, and Griffin was the #14 safety in their listings.

Not sure how many of these guys are actually going to have a shot at making the roster, but it's good to see that the Beloved Purple didn't just sit on their hands after the final name was called out.

I've seen some footage of Marcus Griffin virtue of many Cowboy fans living in Texas, and I really wanted the Boys to draft him. He doesn't quite have the coverage skills that his brother has, but he looks like a big hitter. I could see his ceiling being Keith Davis.

if i was an undrafted guy, i would look for a team that didnt have a lot of picks, like the vikings....in my opinion, thats a better chance to stick there....the best situation in my opinion, is a team that traded up a few spots to #1 to get a QB....you know that team was bad, you know they gave up a lot to get the QB, and if the QB develops like he could, you know they are going to get good....thats a perfect situation, but no team meets that scenraio this year, so the vikings are good enough....they brought in a bunch of guys, and im guessing a few will even make it....

That's a good point, Beef. Since the Vikings essentially sold the farm and the cows to bring in Jared Allen, they probably have the most draft ground to make up.

And as much as I hate the Vikings, I do have to say that I'm impressed with who they're bringing in.

as am I! Be it that I'm a Vikings fan I have to say I am extremly impressed with thier recent pickups. I'm not a bias person, if my teams have faults I'll admit them and not turn a blind eye, but....Minny is doin' the damn thang right now.

Sure I make it a point to express my thoughts on the Vikes running the NFC north, but that has alot to do with the state of thier conference. Once Farve announced his retirement (or kinda-sorta-retirement...lol) the NFC North was up for grabs and Minny reached the highest.

I'm just hoping the McKinnie ordeal ends up in our favor...

Any camp reports from this Vikings treasure trove yet? I'm curious about it...

Nothing much, yet. Their still in Mankato training. The only news is the trading of E. James...but no word on any of those rookie hopefuls being cut yet. I did read somewhere that Erin Henderson is really impressing though, so he looks like the best to stick so far

My dad is hoping and praying that we keep Leman. I didn't see too many Illinois games, but he looked good in the games I did watch.
