Its amazing how much hes progressed offensively. His shot looks much smoother now. I just think that hes forgotten all about defense, and that used to be one his assets. He should concentrate on D once again. It would make him a much much better player.
However this season i think he was our best player. He was the most consistent player even if his D wasnt there. Thats what i think.

His stats were pretty enough to improve his trade value.

What more can you ask for?

Pretty good on offense, non-existent on defense.

B-. Nice on offense, poopoo on defense.

    B-
If he can get back to focusing on the defensive end he's still a pretty damn good player.

At this stage, I would venture to guess that Kidd wants to trade Josh Howard for him.

I gave him a B+ because of the offense. He use to be a really good defender but somehow thinks we can win without playing defense.

I voted B for pretty much the same reasons everyone else is. What's knocking him down from a B+ is him trying to be leader on some of our young guys without listening to the coaches about playing D.

I think his shot looks much more robotic now than earlier in his career. If you watch highlights from his days in Arizona his shot looks much more fluid and effortless. Obviously it has helped improve his shot by becoming more mechanical, but his shot definitely looked prettier back in the day.

    C. his #s were great, but the impact on the team was negative. plus, he was nowhere to be found in the 2nd half of the season it seemed like.

He is a horribly disappointing player who had a dismal season.

I hated everything about him this year.

Everything he used to be (personable, dedicated, unselfish, HARD-working), he is now the complete opposite.

Absolutely the lowest part of a disastrous season.

He lowered his trade value this season. By a lot.

urm...I meant to give him a B+, not an A-. I think he played hard and helped the team win a lot of game. He really sucked some games, so he does not get an A.

IMO you guys are being too harsh by giving him a F or D... come on he was our best and most consistent player all season long. get over it. He deserves at least a B-

Wrong. He was seen before as a great complimentary player who was classy and team-oriented. He had great value.

Now he is seen as a selfish black hole who plays no defense and is bad in the locker room. Not someone you want to put with your young star.

No one in the league believes he is a #1 or even a #2 option so his scoring stats have negatively affected his trade value.
