Gotta say I'm impressed with the teams everyone is building. Lots of smart choices. If we had a list of the top 50 or so fighters it looks like we'd be on pace to pick them all and in a very suitable order.

Yeah, I'm just teasing, EliteXC and Strikeforce often co-promote shows.

Diego Sanchez and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic

Sanchez is the middle weight winner of the first season of TUF. He was undefeated, beating the likes of Karo "the heat" and Nick Diaz, prior to experiencing some personal problems and a significant staph infection. His next two fights were decision losses one of which was a split to number one contender John Fitch. He cleaned himself up and found Jesus. He regained his old form and beat the piss out of David Bielkheden at UFC 82. Many believe that if Sanchez gets back on track he is the only real threat to GSP at 170. He is only 26 and a proven marketable fighter; he will headline the TUF finale in June.

Mirko Filipovic was genuinely the number 2 heavy weight in the world when he entered the UFC. He suffered some devastating losses and didn't look anything like the kick boxing phenom that nobody but Fedor could beat. He has since returned to Japan to "tune up" before returning to the UFC. He has vowed to return to north America and regain his once dominant form. He reminded us why he was so feared a year ago with a first minute, first round beating of some Japanese can at DREAM 1 in March.

I'm going to get another guy who puts asses in the seats.
winner of TUF and capable of fighting at 2 weight classes, I'm pretty sure I can appeal to his 'manliness' to put on a few extra lbs to fight at LHW for me... I'm talking about The Count, MICHAEL BISPING!
