I have to say I'm very impressed with the activity we have here, we're almost averaging a round a day.

kudos to everyone for being so diligent and keeping up with the draft.

    Yeah, fantastic I would say.

How many rounds do you want to do? At this rate a dozen or more can be easily accomplished.

The Hardcore fans might know alot more fighters, but us casual fans might be running out of people we know.

So I've added all of the fighters record as well as a running total of every organizations win/loss record and winning %.
not that it's the most important of stats, but it's fun to see where everyone is.

feel free to discuss which organization has the best potential match ups etc in here too as everyone is starting to develop their roster and philosophy.

I like Big Frame having Brock Lesnar (damn you for taking him btw) and Kimbo Slice. Both guys haven't proven much in MMA and yet they'd both outdraw 95% of mma fighters when it comes to PPV buys. good strategy by BF.. question is how many fights do you give both before you have them face each other and potentially kill the buzz for one of them? A loss to a decent fighter by either and you lose the buzz before matching them up.. tough call for a new organization trying to get off the ground.

kudos to Chocolove for taking Huerta.. I'm just surprised Speeds hasn't banned you yet for doing so [IMG]
Great 170 division too. GSP, Parisyan, Fitch and Shields.. very well done. Huerta vs Aoki is a great draw too.

Speeds has great talent, but beyond Silva who will draw in the casual fan? Need to get some TUF fighters on that roster [IMG]
Otherwise the rest of us who last beyond 3 events will be scooping up your free agent fighters [IMG]
Still Jacare vs Silva.. intriguing.. but Jacare probably isn't ready to set up his game that much yet. Vera vs AA is one many ppl want to see too.

ZAE has a fight I'd love to see, Lindland vs Filho and one I'd rather not Nog vs Fedor part III, I like Nog too much to watch him have to sustain another beating at the hands of Fedor [IMG]

Flush has an nibble in every division and has potential match ups of Sherk vs Ishida, Cro-Cop vs Syliva (kinda lost some of it's luster thought) and Liddell vs Forrest (still appealing IMO). Can't wait to see how he fills out his divisions.

so those are my thoughts thus far. this has been good fun... keep it up guys.

indeed, ask for advice, I've got loads of guys I'd like to pick up and not enough rounds left.. [IMG]

for this round, I'm going to bolster my HW division with Fedor's Brother, the man with the scary tatoo's
    Aleksander Emelianenko (13-3)
Now Aleks is not as well know as Fedor nor nearly as dominant, but he's fought most of his fights in Pride and his losses are to Cro-Cop, Josh Barnettt (possible rematch!) and Fabricio Werdum (another possible rematch, golly gee I must have a plan [IMG] )
He fights to win as only 2 of his 16 fights have gone to decision. North America may not know him now, but put him on the televised part of a few PPV's fans will know who he is quickly. yup, liking my HW division now [IMG]

How many more rounds are we going to do, it might effect my next pick?

    I'll take Cheick Kongo here.

I'm not sure. If Celtic Fan wants this to be like we all have our own promotions, less than 20 fighters means we can't even put together one PPV, let alone several.

If it is more like the IFL, where we each have teams, I think we can stop whenever.
