What happened to this guy? He was so grateful for his new oppurtunity in Minnesota, and he was working hard on the court. Granted he wasn't playing well, it seemed like one day he was put on th injured roster and never returned. What is going to happen to him? Hopefully a buyout. NOBODY is going to want this guy at this stage of his career. I don't know, just rambling.
Minny tried to buy him out but he didn't like to price. I believe with this last year done he only has 1 year remaining on his contract. if Toine doesn't like the buyout price Minny can wait it out have an extra 8 mil next off-season...unless he has two years left...ugh
He has two years left but the second year is a team option. So as far as the Wolves are concerned, he has one year left.
Hmmmm...then Minny should offer him 1/2 to 3/4 of his contract price for this up coming year and if he doesn't take it...sit him and let him go after year. If Antoine really wants out like he says and wants to play for a contender he should take the buyout price and sign where he wants. If not, it looks greedy on his part. How does he justify wanting to move on but then holding up the Wolves for more cash? Mind you, cash that he hasn't earned with the lack of playing time he's provided the team. At least Minny has the option on the second year. and this is better than Blout's contract with 3 years left at the same rate (8+ mil). But Blout did help the team inside when he played though....oh well

If we can't get a young big man with upside or a good PG in return we're better off just holding him and not picking up his option
