Three posts and one vote. Weak. The author didn't even put his choice on the line first like we would have expected. We should have an unwritten rule that if you post a vote, you should have to put your own vote up and not act like a kitty cat.

Man you're trying REALLY hard to come up with the conspiracy theories and general hate on BOS.

Dude, newsflash. They're commentators for the home team. It's their job to be on their team's side. He's promoting a superstar. That's called simple marketing. What, you trying to say that your announcers don't act the same way?

Boston commentators aren't bad in the sense that they're hired by the Celtics' staff to call the game for the Boston area. They have their homerisms because of that. That is very understandable.

Now don't get me started on Mike Tirico. I hate that piece of shit. He calls games for ESPN and ABC. He calls games on NATIONAL TELEVISION. He's supposed to deliver an unbiased view of the game, not cheer for LeBron when he hits a three. Fuckin' moron.

Aren't local commentators supposed to be homers? Isn't that why they're the local commentators? Admittedly, Tommy Heinsohn does take it to different levels, but he's still the Boston commentator.

You can't blame local game coverage for being biased. That said, Heinsohn is insufferable. He takes homerism to an entirely different level and its utterly impossible to watch a game being broadcast from Boston, if you aren't a Celtics fan.
