The year 2018 is the prediction for the entire project, with all the apartment and office buildings, etc. The Barclays Center itself was/is projected to be finished around 2010. Relax.

The Prudential, new yankee stadium, and Citi field would all have taken 2 years to finish. Any other delays and the date will be pushed back to 2011 or later.
