Tim Duncan came up big for the Spurs when it mattered. Lebron didn't. I'm not saying Lebron will be like this the entire series, but there's no denying the fact that he looked horrible out there tonight. I expected him to take over sometime in the fourth, guess not

Debatable. I'll try to bring out the raw PER/Game-Score numbers later. LeBron was also the only starter on his team with negative +/- numbers, by a decent magnitude. Duncan was at -19, but then the majority of SA's starters were around that level. </div> 2/18 vs 1/9 while LBJ made 8/10 from the line vs Timmy's 3 for 6 gives LBJ a better TS% Even with the TO's LBJ still had 9 rebounds and 9 assists Definitely a better game

That's definitely my guess at least, it wasn't a by far better game for either player.

ummm great players have bad games.. shit happens. and MAYBE it had something to do with the Celtics D. Nice job Pegs on your one sided commentary.. how about the phantom flagrant on Lebron who was never touched on the had yet snapped his head back like he was arm tackled? Wasn't that BS too? Sure Lebron struggled, but so did PP and Ray Allen.. I like the C's chances in this series.

Usually, when one gets hit in the face, one's head snaps back.

I haven't been all over this thread giving one sided comments. p.s. saw the replay in slow mo several times this morning... missed his head by a mile.

Looks like you were the only one LeBron fooled.
Yeah, sure. Because everything the league does is right. Wow, the Cavs got whooped tonight. How disappointing.
big game 2nite, I can't wait!!! Can Boston win on the road? If they lose yet another road game 2nite, people should definitely start questioning their mental toughness (which I've already been doing since the ATL series)..........sooner or later they're going to lose at home, which might mean the end of their season.
I figured it out finally. The Celtics are SCARED. They're scared of being challenged, they're scared of the opposing team's fans, they're scared of hostility, and they have NO MENTAL TOUGHNESS and they need to have the support of the home crowd in order to their job. The Celtics are frauds and I am humiliated after all the praise I gave them throughout the season. That merry band of losers is fading and refusing to perform when it matters most. The minute the Hawks stood up to them they ran away crying and failed to win a road game in that series, and it looks like the same thing will happen here. Disgusting.
NBA refs suck. It's retarded how PJ takes a charge (made by Lebron), and the ref underneath the basket just stares at them, like a dumbass. Then, another ref, who is a few yards away from the play, has to look like a dummy and blow a late whistle for the charge. This is the playoffs. They shouldn't be messing up stupid shit like this.
BEAST DUNK BY LEBRON! Damn the Celtics just can't seem to win on the road. But nobody can beat them at home. Celtics in seven

Unlike the Detriot series, Lebron hasn't been able to take over games. I'm not saying Cleveland won't beat Boston, anything is possible, but if Lebron cannot shoot a higher percentage, then I think the chances are pretty slim for Cleveland to advance past to the next round
