<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (AKIRA @ Jul 27 2008, 11:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>anyway i think the third installement of nolan/bale batman flicks will include harvey two face, he didnt die, thats to weak a story ending, he'll be back crayzier and hating batman with a passion! Just the way the character should be, ofcourse i think there will also be introduced another villain.

The writers say they would like to use a character that hasnt been used on the big screen yet, maybe the scarecrow will become a main villain? Harley Quinn, the villainess who falls in love with the joker? Bane?</div>

Dent makes a lot of sense to me. So does Scarecrow, since they have already been willing to use him, and is still alive. If they don't bring Joker back, then Harley Quinn makes the least sense. Bane would be awesome, but I can't see them skipping ahead so much, if no Robin.

How about the return of Ra's al Ghul only this time with a League of Assassins consisting of Deadshot, Bane and Lady Shiva? They could cast Michelle Yeoh as Lady Shiva and Jason Statham as Deadshot. I realize that's taking a lot of liberties with the League of Assassins, but I'm not sure how recognizable the League from the comics would be.

Ra's al Ghul was immortal in the comics, right? Nolan wants to keep it realistic, so he isn't going to bring him back.

Yea, he didn't feel like the same character without the Lazarus pit. I can't see them bringing him back.

Excellent movie, but the trailer for the watchmen didn't really get me that excited. The Terminator one did though. Batman And Ironman were both excellent and Batman beats it but the thought of an Avengers movie makes me like Ironman just as much.
I want to see Hellboy as well, heard it's good.

Deadshot is a great villain. I like that idea. Who would they get to play Bane? Think of the largest football player you can think of. Jake Long? [IMG]

If they keep giving Shawn Merriman steroids, he'd be a pretty good Bane.

I watched it again today and I'm absolutely convinced that if there's another movie Two Face will be the central villain.

What about Mr. Freeze? I always liked him. He was one of the major characters in the animated series as well, but I guess it would be kind of unrealistic...

You would think that Freeze and Penguin would be friends or something.

I'm sure Parcells would love that idea. How about Bob "The Beast" Sapp? Bill Goldberg? Dave Batista? I'm sure Bill Romanowski has the closest body chemistry, but he doesn't really have the look.

I've seen it three times in theaters and I'd like to see it just one more before it hits DVD sometime in December.

I believe it'll be Two Face as the main villain in the third film, I still don't know who they could use as a side character. They need to make Batman acceptable to Gotham City, again.

I just saw this for a third time last night. Still as awesome as the first two times I saw it.

I'd like to say that Two Face will be the main villain in the next one, but I don't see it. I can see maybe using Scarecrow, since he's still around. Had Ledger not died, I'm sure Joker would have been tied in to it, but with his passing, it makes me wonder if they'd be willing to use Joker again.

I think they would've used him as a supporting character in any other movie, but they'll probably keep him out with Ledger's passing. I agree with that decision, and I think its very easy to explain the Joker's absence. He's insane after all.

Apparently the executive producer said the end scene was made purposely ambiguous, so that they have the option of making Dent dead or having Two Face as the villain in the third movie. I still believe that making a third movie centered around Two Face completely affects how I think of this one. If they do it right, this one looks that much more amazing. Without it, the ending feels way too rushed.

Two-Face and Catwoman would be my choices for the 3rd movie.

The riddler and Bane would be 3rd/4th choices.

Check out these pics of the early Joker concept art:

Wonder how they settled on the final Joker look. Like they say in the link, it seems a lot tamer and tbh it would have been difficult to notice the scars in the movie with the final design if they didn't mention it. I do like the final one more but these ones are pretty cool and a lot creepier.

Heath Ledger's acting - superb. For the most part the writing was amazing. Especially the way the film progressed and presented the characters. However, the ending was absolutely god-awful and ruined the film for me.

I liked the first three pictures, I think that is definitely the right look.

As you said, one could barely notice the "scars" Joker had (I did notice them briefly when he and his gang dressed up as those cops and shot Gordon).
