I remember when nets played the Lakers in LA and Swat owned the Lakers and we won there! <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/t;object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QDBKubZbT9s&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QDBKubZbT9s&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/t;object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QDBKubZbT9s&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QDBKubZbT9s&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
Heat at the Nets. I never got to see Penny play before, he is one of my all time favorites. I was there, I got to meet him and he had his only good game during his comeback with the Heat. Sean Williams block party vs the Kings was nice also.
For me it had to be Devin Harris' first game as a Net at home. He couldn't miss it wasn't possible. The crowd was chanting his name. That was about the only highlight of the season for me just b/c it showed we should have a bright future. The shot he was hitting were ridiculous.. Especially the one where he just chucked it up from like 10ft behind the 3 point line and drilled it after everyone was talking shit about his jumper. The kid just couldn't miss that game, it wouldn't even hit the rim. It was such a special night that even Diop showed off a sweet jumper just b/c the pass came from Harris' hands. <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ulvVGqlPnW0&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ulvVGqlPnW0&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>

The day i saw on yahoo.com that kidd was being traded. it was before ager did that thing but i was SO excited. also that laker game you mentioned was crazy. me and claud were on the espn boards before i knew of s2. lol i was watching and typing at the same time. it even got flooded and didnt let me enter at times. lol that was such a beautiful game. and.......d.harris first game along with watching Swat all season. the only reason i saw the rest of the games was because i wanted to know how swat played lol
And who can forget Sean shitting all over the Sophmores in the Rookie Challenge on Allstar Weekend when he threw the ally oop off the backboard to himself? And then he flipped off LaMarcus lmao <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qNC-HdtPxt4&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qNC-HdtPxt4&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div> <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OtIQ8FyLTwM&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OtIQ8FyLTwM&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
Without a doubt my favorite memory was when we, the fans and the world, were introduced to Sean Williams <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/C-mMgHvS8Fs&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/C-mMgHvS8Fs&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
It's gotta be Devin Harris' first game. I was there, and felt like I was watching the beginning of something huge. From the Jason Kidd part of the season, it has to be when the Nets dropped a train on Dallas. It was the last game I saw Kidd play, what a great way (and poetic) way to end an era.

definitely the Dallas game. Vince coming back from the injury and going bananas, Sean Williams with the big block on dirk, Kidd to RJ reverse alley oop, and at the time, Dallas was still a big force in the league so it was just an awesome time to be a nets fan.
That Swift dunk up there was nasty I remember that. Plus it was the first time I saw him throw up the bird sign as a Net. Swift had some insane dunks.
Oh another memory. When Sean got his first playing time and I'm sitting on the couch watching people drive into the lane and I would jump up and tell my lil brother it's blocked and sure enough he had 3 or 4 blocks that night in bearly any PT b/c nobody knew who he was. Not to mention everyone thought he was too raw and should be playing in the D-League except me! I really think that gave him the confidence that he can play in this league.
