<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>By Mike Chappell, The Indianapolis Star Running back Dominic Rhodes has rejoined the Indianapolis Colts, signing a one-year deal with the team he helped lead to a Super Bowl championship. Rhodes, a free agent after being recently released by the Oakland Raiders, will receive approximately $650,000. Rhodes was an integral part of the Colts' drive to a win in Super Bowl XLI after the 2006 season. He worked in tandem with rookie Joseph Addai, starting all 16 regular-season games and then coming off the bench in the four postseason games. In the 29-17 win over the Chicago Bears in the Super Bowl, Rhodes rushed 21 times for 113 yards and one touchdown. Rhodes, 29, left the Colts as a free agent after the 2006 season and signed with the Raiders. He saw little playing time in Oakland in a crowded backfield, finishing with 75 carries for 302 yards and one touchdown.</div> http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...s-resigns_N.htm Sort of eat your heart out Run BJM /). Lol man. I love the pathetic price we got him for, thanks for the discount. First Mike Hart, now Dom. I don't know what the situation is with Kenton Keith, but I like Indy's depth.
He'll hit the ground running for us (no pun intended) so I don't see any downside or anything to having him around
Yeah, he'll make a solid backup for Indi; he already knows the scheme. Hart was a real nice pickup for you guys too. I know people were down on him after his 40 time, but I think he'll make a solid back. He can def. carry the load (not that he'll need to in Indy, mind you). I think Keith is on the outside looking in. Didn't he run into some trouble?

He won't see much of the rotation at the start of the season, but if he had been a clean guy he could have seen some decent time later on given how many injury problems RB suffer. I think he might get cut just for annoying the Colts; only stars can get into that kind of trouble and get away with it.
Rhodes was the odd man out in Oakland after drafting DMC. I wish him well, despite his parting shots.
