I posted this here because I know there are huge fans of the show (looking at you , GM3!) and we have discussed this before. Bill Lawrence is taking the show to ABC for an 18 episode run in the fall so the show has a real ending. NBC refused, so they are falsely advertising tonight's episode as the "Scrubs Finale". Don't be fooled! Here's my favorite TV critic describing the events. Link.
Scrubs is god, and in some respects resembles the Nets season (shameless plug!) I wonder if we'll see JD and Elliot rekindle their love...only to see the resulting 18 episodes show no tie-ins to their inevitable relationship? (I can't believe I just said that)
Good Stuff. NBC has treated Scrubs like crap for years with constant slot changes, putting the show on hiatus until the spring and not renewing it until the very last minute almost every year. NBC just killed a great Thursday line-up they had. As for the article, the guy has a point that it hasn't been as good as it used to be but it's still much better than anything else thats on tv, I have confidence that the writers will give us a great final season.

So did anyone actually see the episode tonight? Could you even comprehend how pissed you would be if that was the final episode of Scrubs after 7 season?

He went to NBC and asked to make some extra episodes to tie everything up and they said no, so he gave them the ones he was contractually obligated to give and made a deal with ABC for an 18 episode season rather than end the series on NBC's terms. Last night's episode was so bad, it wouldn't surprise me if it was never intended to be aired at all.
Hey, Petey, there's a Woot Off today! I am constantly checking because I want a bag of crap and those sell out in two seconds.
