That's great news because we're gonna need him to be the glue for everything we are trying to do with our new squad as we transition and try and find an identity. I know Vince is a pretty easy target sometimes with the things he doesn't do but I feel he did a pretty admirable job this past season, being the guy who would shoulder the load despite all the distractions and bumps in the road. Lets just hope he doesn't suffer any setbacks and can get back in game shape in a decent time frame.

I just hope this isn't one of those slow healing surgeries ala Krstic and Arenas. The Nets are historically slow starters and I wouldn't go crazy if Carter needs extra time to get back.
