Jazz fan confronted Fisher, verbally threatened him and his family

    It was unclear on two TNT broadcast replays if the fan made contact, but the courtside seat was definitely close enough to reach Davis.

    Warriors team president Robert Rowell said he hadn't heard any complaints from the Warriors' players.

    "We will certainly look into their comments," he said. "From what I observed, the fans in Utah are well-behaved and passionate. There is no place for inappropriate fan conduct in the 2007 NBA Playoffs."

    Jackson tried to walk the same company line.

    "It's cool; I don't mind taking it," he said, "but at the same time, it is aggravating and you want to do something about it, but you can't."</div>

    Again, its just a few fans but in what other stadium of any major sport can you see anyone yelling racial slurs to the players with no opposition from other people in the crowd? BTW Jason Richardson also came out during the series and talked about the Jazz fans yelling racial slurs at him.

    It's unfortunate how Jazz fans are viewed as these days. I'm sure there are a lot of classy fans in Utah, it's just unfortunate how they seem to be out numbered by the amount stupid, ignorant assholes in the stands. I'm still at shock at how these so called "fans" would come out and boo someone for doing what is right for his family. These boos are no longer about basketball. When you heckle and disrespect someone for trying to do what's best for his family, I really start to question how these people were raised as children. I thought Utah was populated by a lot of Mormons? Their religion certainly wouldn't condone this behavoir, right?

    Calling Derek a "liar" for trying to protect, and save his daughter's vision is really just a shame. I wonder what the fans around him were doing? Personally, I would have felt ashamed and embarrassed of myself for standing next to do guy and not doing anything to stop him. I hope the arena security did something about this and tossed him from the arena. He can rot in hell. Maybe some day, if he ever has sex and has a daughter, his daugher will get cancer in her eye so he'll understand what Derek is going through right now

    I hate these fans more than Suns fans

    1 Jazz fan called Derek Fisher bad names, therefore with scientific analysis I have put this information through my Class-O-Meter4000 and come to the conclusion that Jazz fans are worse than Saddam Hussein.

    I cannot believe an opposing teams fan would ever call a player a bad name... just outrageous!

    Indeed as the article proclaims, each and every Jazz fan do make up the most classless group in the entire history of professional sports!
