Wow Mamba, why so much hate for an entire group of people of one religion.

Maybe if you were better educated in Mormonism you wouldn't hate them so much:

Anyone else think that its funny that he signed with the Lakers, when he asked Utah to release him? Coulda signed with Memphis, NY Knicks or the Clippers. But he signed on with a better team.

He took a major pay cut and the Lakers were not a lock to be a good team at the start of the season.

He reportedly did it for Medical care for his daughter.

As for the topic: Obviously the Laker fans are annoyed with the CANCER chants and stupid allusions to that.

As far as the comments Mamba made, I understand why he's so passionate, and this is a touchy subject.

Thanks for posting the video though Lava.

I don't think they'll burn in hell. This is nothing compared to what the fans do in Europe in either soccer matches or basketball games. It's part of the game, to make the enemy miss a shot, curse at them, etc.

Personally I wouldn't do it, but I'm not going to say they're going to hell either.

Other than that, Lakers in 6. [IMG]

for one, he has a history with the franchise, so that would be why he favored the Lakers over the other teams. He knows the franchise, he knows people in the organization ... And as for the Lakers being the better team, that's hindsight speaking. Everyone was projecting the Lakers to miss the playoffs.

Rule of thumb is u can talk about the player all you want, but dont talk about their family. I wish that guy covering his eye would go to Staples and do that, he'd have a knife in his back before he could get back to his car

Yea, when Fisher joined the Lakers they weren't considered a better team than the Jazz. So he actually went to the Lakers, and he took an average of 5 mill per year instead of 6 mill per year. So a small paycut too.

Fisher left a Utah Jazz team that went to the WCF. He came to a Laker squad that most projected wouldn't even make the playoffs. Nobody even knew if Kobe was going to be on the roster at the beginning of the season or not. You say, oh well he could've signed with the Grizzlies, New York, or LAC. Well why would he want to go there when he is already familiar with the Laker organization, and he already has a family in Los Angeles? It doesn't make sense. Fisher did what was best for his family, and for Utah fans to not be able to comprehend that just makes them look like idiots. Not that I really care, we're going to win the series anyways

I knew why he left, thats why I only named LA, NY and Memphis. St. Jude's is based in Memphis. I forgot that he allready played for the Lakers.

It sounded like one person in this thread thought that was funny Shape (no not me).

    Totally low class.

How do we know that guy didn't just get poked in the eye?

I know what it looks like, but it's not 100% he was mocking Fisher's daughter.

Maybe he was screaming, but got something in his eye and was rubbing it.

    It's a possibility.

Did anyone here on S2 go to either of the games in Utah? I'm writing an article on how classless the Jazz fans are and I'd like to interview some people.

you just don't know, though it looks like he is, do you know him...
