Sorry J-Farm...we tried to be patient with you, we really did. Maybe this will light a fire under yo ass. Let's go Sash! The Machine just got a new set of batteries and is ready to go! Per ESPN News and John Ireland.
Honestly, I love this move...but Phil, it's about two games too late. But better late than never! Let's go Machine!
Less minutes for Jordan, the better More minutes for Sasha, the better. He has really been shooting lights out lately. My only problem is his ability to run the offense with the second unit, but it's not like Jordan has been doing a great job setting up his teammates, so it's a win-win situation for us.
Wise decision by Phil. That will give some more space to our slashers, as Sasha's really shooting the lights out as of lately. Btw, I hope Kobe is allright and he continues his great play.
John Ireland is regurgitating an interview Rambis gave on the PMS show. Rambis said he discussed the possibility of going with the Machine earlier with Brian Shaw after watching game footage. They don't like the hesitation Farmar has right now and his ineffectiveness to defend DWill. I think NMG posted that Farmar is -40 in the series so far. I think the message is clear to Farmar, step up or step aside.
I don't think it's that, Shape. I think it's already step aside. They've gave him plenty of chances already, it's Machine time.

The bad thing about Vujacic is that he is 6'7, I would question his ability to keep up with Deron. I think the best thing this move may do is get Farmar to step up his game to prove himself.
Sasha is tall, but small. He's very pesky and pretty fast. I don't see him having a problem keeping up with Deron...but I do see a problem with strength. Deron is so strong, I think he might be easily able to out muscle Sasha.
Yea, I guess strength will be an issue too. I want to say it'll be interesting to see how Sasha fairs against Deron, but I just expect him to struggle. I can see Sasha getting into a feud with Deron and both getting double Techs, which would be meaningless for the Lakers. lol
I agree. I don't see Sasha being much more effective than Farmar, he's not strong enough. Give Newble some burn on Deron. We've got enough offense.
Sasha is great at annoying players into committing offensive fouls or taking bad shots against him. I think PJax will use Sasha in certain situations to give Deron a different look on defense, but DWill is great at making adjustments and breaking a defense down. Lakers haven't made any key changes since Game 1, I'm expecting something new tonight to counter act what Utah has been able to do. Thus far the bench play has been the key for both squads. Our home crowd needs to get our Bench Mob going.
So much for that.. Mamba is spot on, Sasha's weak ass needs to ****ing hit the gym, he's starting to piss me off with his weak ass flopping
I don't think Sasha realizes that the refs don't put up with constant whining during the playoffs. Not only did he have an atrocious night, but he also was crying to the refs all night (he's actually done it all series IIRC) and they finally hit him up with a T. He is still a young playoff kid, he needs to realize it's time for the men to come out and play.
