As Tuesday's draft lottery approaches, the buzz builds around Memphis point guard Derrick Rose, whom a growing number of teams now favor over Kansas State power forward Michael Beasley, one NBA personnel official asserted.
The Heat told one NBA person it leans toward Rose if it picks first, though a Heat official cautioned there is no decision. An official with another team who spoke to Miami was left believing Pat Riley loves Rose, but Beasley also has some support internally.

Two NBA personnel executives said Miami should take Stanford center Brook Lopez if it picks third, and Arizona point guard Jerryd Bayless if it chooses fourth.</div>

Bad move... i really want the Heat to win the #1 and pick Beasley!

They only lack a decent Pf... A core of Wade - Marion - Beasley paired up with a decent bench would do wonders in the East.

Plus i think Wade should be the primary ball handler therefore the heat should simply acquire a decent PG.

Wade and his high TO rate means he shouldnt be the primary ball handler

Thats why i said the Heat need a decent PG... Look at the Lakers, fisher (as much as i like him) is a decent PG at best at this point and is not the primary ballhandler... He and Kobe share to rock.

If wade has someone who he can TRUST and is ABLE to take care of the rock with him, then it would do wonders for Wade's game.
