If you could add a former player to your current roster; who would it be. Only catch is, it has to be someone who played for your team and you'd get their ability/talent at whatever level you wish for when they were with your team. For example: if you are a Raiders fan, but you chose Jerry Rice, you'd get Jerry Rice's talent/ability from any of the 2001-2004 seasons since he was with Oakland only during that time period.... Also, please list your team, so that we know (in case you chose a player who played in multiple locations) So, for example, I am a Cowboys fan.... I can choose any past Cowboy..... I would choose Irvin around the 92 season.... It would give us a young, talented WR to pair up with Owens and Witten.... Owens is getting up there, and we'd have a young #1 to take over when Owens does eventually retire. In the meantime, we have an elite WR tandem. Gives Romo another option..... and our depth at WR would be pretty sick. I also considered Haley, Sanders, Hayes, Lilly, White... but I think I'd still go with Irvin. Your turn.
Eric Dickerson when he played for Indy. With a Dickerson/Addai backfield, they would run over everyone or open up the game even more for Peyton. For reference, in 1988 (playing for the Colts of course) he had 1659 yards rushing with 377 receiving yards, in spite of his QB not taking off much pressure. Edge is a nice choice as well.
My answer is the same as if I could choose any player from any franchise ever. Lawrence Taylor from 1984-1988.
Steve Young to the 49ers, without a doubt. My all time favorite football player. And the 9ers just happen to need more from the QB position.
Kenyatta Walker. Haha, in all seriousness, probably Derrick Brooks when he was in his prime. He just isn't the same anymore.
Dan Marino. Everyone knew that he was going to throw the ball, he did it anyone and still kicked butt. I think Marino would have loved to have had Ronnie Brown behind him. Besides being a tough, physical runner, Brown has good hands and is a legit pass catching threat coming out of the back field. Now, I would want Dan as a rookie because even he couldn't do a lot with the current Dolphins, but in a few years...

I would say Lester Hayes or Jack Tatum, but times have changed so much. They would be "fined" into bankruptcy, probably suspended indefinitely after only a few games. Can't pick Lyle Alzado either, because he would be kicked out for steroids. Some players were meant for certain time periods, take that into consideration when choosing what would fit in today. 1)My first pick would be young <u>Timmy Brown</u>, like Dale said. We was both a special teams threat and a WR who also was a terrific downfield blocker on running plays. 2)If our backfield wasn't so crowded, Bo Jackson. 3)Steve Wiznewski at G. My favorite lineman of all time. 4)Lincoln Kennedy at LT. A great LT late in his career, and much more today-modern than Shell.
I can't decide for the Steelers At Center Mike Webster might be too small for today's NFL so there is always Dermontti Dawson Obviously Alan Faneca would be a huge help at guard Carnell Lake, Rod Woodson, Mel Blount and Donnie Shell in the defensive backfield Joe Green and LC Greenwood My favorite linebackers, Lambert and Ham, are undersized for the Steelers defense, although I bet Lambert would make a hell of a safety.

That's valuable, isn't it? Edit, Green at DE is really scary.

For Minnesota I would choose "Scramblin" Fran Tarkenton, his early years when he still had the wheels. With Minny's line today, his ability to elude the defense and toss the play action would make Minnesota a Super Bowl contenter right now. Not to mention the countless headaches he would give the Defense using Minny's left side on Options....Woooo Hoooo!!!! "Go Vikes"!!!!
