If you're a GM and have your choice of right fielders over the next five years, who are you taking? Vote and then give reasons why! If you vote other, please tell us who you think it should be. Poll will be up for five days or until it's clear who the winner is. We will do all positions, including Starter, Setup Man, Closer, and Designated Hitter.

Previous Selections:
Catcher: Joe Mauer (Minnesota)
First Base: Albert Pujols (St. Louis)
Second Base: Chase Utley (Philadelphia)
Third Base: Alex Rodriguez (NY Yankees)
Shortstop: Hanley Ramirez (Florida)
Left Field: Matt Holliday (Colorado)
Center Field: Carlos Beltran (NY Mets)

Another tough one with young talent and proven veterans.

I'm not sure Vlad can keep it up for 5 years, he's struggling a little this year.

Kemp, Rios, Markakis, Francoeur, Upton are all entering their primes, or have yet to.

I'm undecided right now.

Vlad is 32 right now and has shown signs of injury problems in the past. He might be a bit old for this spot. There are a bunch of good players here, but not that stand out as MVP type franchise players. Should be an interesting vote.

Rios also has an excellent arm.

Defensively, I think Francoeur is the best I've seen, but I'm not in love with his swing.

The safe choice here is Rios, but I wonder if it will actually be any of these guys. Tough one.

For most of those players, it is unclear whether they will be a RF as soon as next season.

Regardless, you could probably argue that Hunter Pence and Corey Hart should be choices on the poll also.

Rios is a great talent, but the book on him is that he is a little lackadaisical, and will never take the next step forward to become a true start. Francouer is a power-hitting goon; he doesn't walk and won't hit more than about .280.

I am torn between Nick Markakis and Jeremy Hermida.

Bump.
We need a lot more than four total votes to really have a "winner."

I just gave Vlad a homer vote.

He is struggling this year because he has some nagging hand injuries. I'm not worried about him in the next 2-3 years, it's after that.

Markakis has star written all over him. I'm torn between him and Rios, though both have been off to a slow start.

I vote Jose Tabata.

I voted for Franceur, but would have voted for Hunter Pence had he been in the poll, and I refuse to vote for "other".

Francoeur is boss.

And will be, for the next decade.

Yup, he swings at everything, but at least he can patrol the field.

I'm going with Upton. The upside this kid has is amazing, and he doesn't even turn 21 until the end of August. In 5 years he'll still be a year younger than Rios is right now

Actually switch my vote to Upton. I confused him with his brother.

Thier both good as hell, but Justin has a lil more upside. I'd love to have em both on my team if I was rebuilding. B.J. is 3 years older than Justin but he's a more veritile fielder since he can play both CF and 2B

I'm going with Markakis, Rio's only had 1 good year, his stats so far this season aren't impressive at all, him and Granderson are my fantasy bust [IMG] haha'
