I'm pretty sure Jefferson or Carter is good enough. I'm sure they'd want youth but if they were to keep Iverson and not Anthony, it would be a sign of win-now. Please Kikorn.

This was bound to happen since Kiki probably still has friends in the Denver front office. I'm just surprised that the players they're talking about are Carmelo and Camby. I would rather the discussions involve Kleiza.

Do you think the Nuggets have a lot of hope in Kleiza that they'd do this for others? Pretty weird but possible.
From the "In the 'Zzone" article: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Nets have plenty and from what I’ve been told they can use everything. 1. They have three draft picks in the top 40, two first-rounders and one in the Lottery. 2. Keith Van Horn’s contract, worth about $3.8 million. The Nets are trying to move this. 3. A $3.3 million trade exception from the Jason Kidd trade. It originally was two exceptions for $1.68 million and $770,000, but the league changed it. It’s now one for more money. 4. Young players with value: Marcus Williams, Sean Williams, Josh Boone 5. Nenad Krstic, who could be used in a sign-and-trade. 6. Expiring contracts: Stromile Swift, Maurice Ager. 7. Midlevel Exception 8. Lower level Exception</div> I'd rather include Krstic then Sean. While of course considering that this could be a mistake if Sean doesn't quite pan out, I'm confident that he will and would rather not trade him for an aging Camby. I know he can still play, but for how long?
i sort of wonder if Denver wants us to take back Camby, like he has negative trade value. He doesn't seem to be considered a good man defender anymore, and he steals boards from his teammates, along with being old and fairly expensive. Either way, I hope he doesn't make us lose out on Melo for some reason.

At the least, he can teach Sean how to rebound better...and be a better weakside defender (that is, if we keep Sean).

But camby's defense is better than Nene. That doesnt mean Nene's D is horrible either.
One thing Nets fans will find out is that Kiki loves the media, loves to leak things to the media and loves to manipulate through the media. Camby especially is a player that doesn't respond well when his name is in trade rumors. This smells like Kiki planting a story in the media to screw with the Nuggets

Plus he can screw with the Nuggets by putting and keeping Camby's and Melo's names in trade rumors. Remember, we are talking about a reporter once called Lazy Al. He may very well become Kiki's favorite reporter by making stories out of whatever Kiki tells him.

i would not be against gettin melo and camby... but if we were to give up all of the things i heard in rumor... for ex: RJ, s&t krstic, m. williams, s. williams, kvh (expiring contract), jason kidds (3.3 trade exemption), and our lottery pick... umm i think we can get brand and maggette and i would rather have that deal....

More like expiring contracts and cash if you will. But i can see us giving the nugs some young players for melo(24) camby (34)/Nene (25) and maybe even throw in kleiza(23)?
