This is better for us if Diop is the only FA they sign, our draft pick is going to be high in two years.

Would be a decent pick up for the Mavs for about 3 million of the MLE over 3 years. Most of Mavs major moves will be done via trade, bigger names being thrown around is Artest, Redd, Maggette, and Mike Miller.
Work out a S&T and they can have him! He's a good shot blocker who has no offense and is an average rebounder for his size. Plus, assuming Nets decide to go after a big man again (Love for ex), I want playing time to goto the rookie with potential and not Diop.

I mean, he's pretty good defensively, but I can see Josh Boone surpassing him either this upcoming season or the next. If not, he's easily replaceable.
