That was basically what this thread was about!!! I'm glad somebody saw it. </div> no prob but this team does scare me, imagine if they trade for a PG that passes more, unlike Fisher, if Mitch can get players to extend Kobes career, the rest of the NBA could be in trouble
I understand where you guys are coming from. This is an insane core and has the potential to win several championships in a row. But to completely count Dwight and the Magic out is just foolish. In one or two years, Orlando is going to be a very scary team.

NBA on NBC >>>>>>>>> NBA on ABC. It'll never come back though. I don't expect to rattle title after title off, but I can see 3 within the next 6 or 7 years. Look at what the Spurs have done over the past decade or so, I look at this L.A. team as more talented than that.

Lebron is overrated. I can safely say that if people truly believe he is better than Kobe at this stage of his career.
I don't see why the Lakers can't win any championships. Like Mamba said, the Spurs have won tons of titles with less talent. However, not to take away from the Spurs, they have had great role players and arguable the greatest PF of all time in Duncan. For the Spurs, Pop made Parker the PG he is. His systematic offense helps Parker to get open and get his shot off. His defense is shaky as we saw with Paul. Manu is just Manu. Hitting 3's and flopping like a mofo. The Lakers role players are just as good as the Spurs' role players. Zen Master is just as good as Pop, if not better. Gasol matches up with Duncan great and no one can guard Kobe. Manu will flop till the cows come home, but Kobe will be able to contain him. Parker vs. Fisher is a funny one. You have a systematic PG against another systematic PG, who can play out of that role. I see Parker winning that battle, because he's a better player, but he's not enough. In the next 5-10 years, I see the Lakers winning 3 titles.
