Food for thought. Kevin McHale and Bill Duffy (OJ Mayo's agent) were college teammates and roommates at Minnesota. Fred Hoiberg played under Tim Floyd (USC Coach) @ Iowa State, and the two remain good friends to this day.

I did kinda find it strange that McHale himself commented on the fact that the recent allegations on Mayo will not effect the way the Wolves would view him come draft time. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=414139
A backcourt of Mayo and Foye has a bright future for years to come. Jefferson is young, too, so you have a big 3 kind of scenario to build on. The rest of the picks are gravy.
That's what I've been thinking...not to mention Mayo has that "Superstar" potential. I also believe the later on in the draft when Minny drafts (even better if we package our two 2nd rounds for a 1st Rounder) the choices are better for front court help then they are for PG's or even dual-guards. if Minny picks Brook then they don't have enough to move up and pick up a Westbrook or Augustine (maybe a Ty Lawson). But if we get Mayo we have enough to trade up to get maybe Robin to help in the front court. I just really like the idea of Mayo being on this team. We need someone that can create thier own shot and is willing to in crunch time. Big Al does good but teams wait for him to get it. And Foye could use someone else like Mayo
Perhaps I should add Beasley to my list? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Andrew (Hollywood, FL): Pat Riley has made it clear that Rose is at the top of his board. What do you think the future looks like if Rose goes first and the Heat take Beasley? SportsNation Chad Ford: (2:14 PM ET ) Good. I think Beasley would be a good fit on the Heat. I think he can play with Marion and Wade. However, it sounds like given the choice, they might opt to trade the pick or ... I'm hearing they'll also seriously consider O.J. Mayo. He's here working out with Dwyane Wade. I think they'd actually be a better combo in the backcourt than Wade-Rose because O.J. can really shoot the ball.</div>

Oh, buddy!!! If that does happens to be the case we need to really check into a trade scenerio with Toronto to get TJ Ford...maybe McCants and picks? PG-TJ SG-Foye SF-Gomes PF-Beasley C-Big Al = Swwwweeeeeeettttt!!!!!
