Obviously they wouldn't offer both Gordon AND Deng (both free agents) but what if they offered the #1, a signed-then-traded Gordon or Deng, plus fillers like Noah or Thomas for Kobe? As Laker fans, would you pull the trigger on that? I feel a little dirty for asking, truthfully, but we would seriously be set for the next 10 years if we got a guy like Rose and paired him up with Gasol/Bynum/Odom/Gordon and our younger kids. Kobe is easily my all-time favorite player but I'm wondering if you could really consider that trade foolish given the mileage on Kobe. Me? I wouldn't do it. I love Kobe too much and I think we've got a good thing going, but I'm really interested in what you all have to say. Of course the caveat here is Chicago would probably not be interested in Kobe at this point, but this isn't something that would be completely unimaginable.
No. Rose/Beasley are no sure things. Kobe is by far the BEST PLAYER IN THE GAME. I won't kill you for asking, though.
I must say man I am completely and utterly SHOCKED to see you make this thread at this point of the year, considering Kobe has won MVP, and what we having going right now for us. But, to answer your question, **** NO.
Lol. Yeah I practically feel like a child molester for even bringing it up, but it's a business at the end of the day. Jerry Buss has taught me well. Mamba: Jury is out on Beasley, but Rose is the TRUTH. Book it.
Yeah this is business, and we would be getting screwed in your proposed trade on multiple fronts. We have a shot at a dynasty right now.
thats crazy man. it doesnt matter about how good this KID is, we have got a future and its name is andrew bynum. we have chemistry that starts with kobe bryuant, take him away and the rest will leave. kobe will retire a laker, and if someone traded him away after all that he has done, well lets just say that nobody would ever feel right being on a team run by someone stupid enough and vindictive enough to make a trade like that. kobe is the lakers, just like magic is the lakers. crazy. but atleast you had the guts to ask that in a die hard lakers forum, props on that lol.
Since we get Gasol, I was thinkin about trading Bynum for first pick (now we know it will belong to Chicago). In my oppinion, Gasol, Odom and Bynum can't coexist together. Gasol is an excellent C, but he seems slow to me to handle faster PF as West, Garnett, Boozer, Amare (now with Shaq y PHX). Also Odom is playing carrer basketball at PF with Gasol at the C. Bynum will be a monster in this league, but maybe we cant get the same monster prospect in another position that is hurting us since long: Small Forward. If we send Bynum, and get the pick, let's draft Beasley. We get an excellent SF who can play the PF position as Odom. Strong, fast, can shoot. In my opinnion, this will be an amazing trade for the Bulls to. They have a true C, so Noah can move to the PF position, to compete with Thomas and Gooden. (C. Bynum, PF. Noah, SF. Deng, SG. Gordon, PG. Hinrich, team for 10 more seasons at the top. BENCH. Nocioni, Thomas, Gooden, etc). If they are ask for Bynum and a pick or a player like farmar, I dont mind giving up that players for Beasley. In other important topic, this will be a good option for the salary cap. With Bynum in the team, Odom will leave (I don't think he will sign for less money). With a rookie, you will pay less money for 4 more season. So we will have a space for offer Odom something about 10 millions. LA LAKERS NEXT SEASON: C. Gasol PF. Odom SF. Beasley SG. Kobe PG. Fisher OPINNIONS (SORRY FOR THE ENGLISH)

Fisher OPINNIONS (SORRY FOR THE ENGLISH)</div> Gasol wouldn't survive a full season @ C. He's a natural PF because of how small his frame is and how weak he is. The only reason he is playing C is because Bynum is down. Lamar won't cause any problems. He just wants to win and live in L.A. He isn't all about himself, he doesn't care about his stats, especially scoring. He can easily facilitate on a team with Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum and be satisfied. Bynum won't cause any problems, he didn't get many touches this year. Most of his points were on lobs and put backs. The team won't trade him, no matter what. They've got a future stud in the kid, trading him would be crazy. I think all three can co-exist together, fairly easy. This isn't a selfish team, there was a great article in the Press-Enterprise about how well this team communicates. I'll post it if I can find it.
No if this was last year I would be all over this trade because Kobe wanted out and Oden was there. But no.
As much as Beasley entices me, Bynum has already proved to be legit when healthy. A front line of Odom, Bynum, and Gasol is so scary. Plus the best backcourt in the West! WOW!!!!!

I'd say GinĂ³bili and Parker is pretty good
No 1st overall pick + 2010 1st round pick + Deng + Gordon + T. Thomas and I might think about it. But honestly, I wouldn't trade Kobe for everyone on the Bulls roster, so hell no. The Bulls didn't trade away Michael Jordan for a 1st overall pick and mediocre young talent, and neither will we, at least until Kobe reaches the age of 40
Not a chance. You don't trade the best player on the planet for a couple decent young players and the number one pick. As much as Beasley and Rose entice me, there's no guarantee that either will pan out to be a great player.
Bynum's surgery supposedly went well so we won't be getting rid of him either (unless we get to rip someone off again).
In case you're wondering, I'm man enough to admit I fucked up. I fucked up. Ain't no Ben Gordon or Derrick Rose that can come back from 20 down to beat the Spurs.
