From what I hear, Lee isn't D'Antoni's type of player. Should we look at the possibility of bringing him to the Nets?
When I read the title, the first thing that came to my mind was "who do we have to take back with him?" I'm sure Walsh would like to get rid of all of these bad contracts. If we want Lee, we'd probably be forced to take back some of their trash (James, Curry, Randolph, etc).
I like David Lee a lot, but I think his value is inflated because of how much he stands out from the rest of the garbage players on his team.

"Mike doesn't like guys like Lee who can't shoot," a D'Antoni confidant said. "He saw him as a non-scoring power forward when he came out of Florida. But that's why a guy like Jamal Crawford is going to be around. He will thrive in Mike's system. And he likes Nate a lot, too. Mike likes guys who can make plays from anywhere on the court."</div> Source

Besides, would New York really trade with New Jersey? Teams usually seem reluctant to trade with teams in their own conference, much less teams right across the river from them.
