Yeah that is true to a degree, but when he got more playing time, even the month Pau wasn't here and after Bynum was injured, he was pretty solid for us at 18 mpg. After that he flourished even more.

I think we have some other needs to take care of but I believe something will be worked out though.

Bynum, Kobe, and Odom have needs. : O

Fish is almost 34 years old, maybe we should look into some cheap back-up. Farmar has mostly spiraled out of control.

I agree we will need a PG who can defend and it's a shame we don't have a draft pick this year because Kyle Weaver out of Washington State was made for the Triangle.

We still have our second round pick this year. But anyways, it doesn't really matter, if we like someone well enough, there are always teams out there willing to sell their second round pick. We can always buy one if it came down to it. Or, if you'd like, we could always swing a trade with some team like the Grizzlies, maybe Pau Gasol for Javaris Crittenton (young up and coming point guard), Kwame Brown (expiring, should give us more flexibility to resign Sasha), rights to Marc Gasol, and the 28th overall pick. We could snatch him up there [IMG]

And nMg, you're making the point about Sasha being on the court during crunch time..it's not going to happen when we are healthy, unless Phil puts him in for Fisher.

When healthy during crunch time: Fisher, Kobe, Odom, Gasol, Bynum.

So you trust Lamar in clutch situations now Mamba? My prefered lineup, when healthy:

    Fisher Sasha Kobe Gasol Bynum

Huge flaw in this lineup is no one else could create off the dribble.

I'm more worried about Lamar making a stupid pass, dribbling the ball off his foot, travelling, committing an offense foul, or forcing up a wild shot that doesn't even hit rim...

Lamar has played pretty well for the most part this postseason, but I still have no faith in him during clutch situations

Just because Lamar is sometimes trouble in the clutch doesn't mean Phil sits hi. Phil likes to play Lamar in the clutch because of his skills. He isn't going to sit Odom for Sasha. You can also make the argument that Phil would put Luke in before Sasha.

Isn't Luke the anti-clutch? and a poorer shooter compared to Sasha? The only advantage I see for Walton is he is a better passer and seems to be more in control at times than Sasha.

But I guess Odom is a far better playmaker and can score on his own if they don't double him compared to Walton or Sasha if they forced to try to score rather than pass. Who usually can't create a shot for themselves well.

I'm not saying Luke is a better player than Sasha, by any means. I hate Luke in the clutch.

However, Phil has some weird obsession with Walton's "basketball I.Q."

If I had it my way, when healthy, my rotation would be 10 players.

    Fisher, Farmar
    Kobe, Sasha
    Odom, Ariza
    Gasol, Turiaf
    Bynum, Mbenga!!!!

Luke has so much basketball IQ that he can forget the amount of time left in a game.

    LMFAO! Shape got me!

I meant Luke before Sasha, I think they got that. Nice catch, Shape. You're on your game, today.

I have to admit, I feel a little bad about bashing Luke after reading the LA Times article about his father's health. It's hard to compartmentalize those feelings no matter who you are.

Luke played well for us in the Denver series, but was exposed against Utah in a bad way. He was completely man-handled by Matt Harpring in the series and intimidation got the best of him.

I've noticed Luke has been the ball movement killer in the Spurs series. When the ball swings to him he's holding onto it and isn't confident in his decision making. He's even struggling inbounding the ball and looks out of whack.

In the article it mentioned Luke was over sensitive about people comparing him to his dad, or making cracks about his dad. He's only been able to make light of those jokes and comparison this season.

Now he has to adjust to not having his dad around and watching old Bill struggle to even stand anymore.

Wow Bill can barely stand? What is the problem with his health?
