Faber is one of my favourites across all of MMA. Too bad his weight class doesn't get the respect it deserves.

Here is a wild story from the California Kid himself (eat your heart out, Marlon):

He is one of my favorite as well speeds. Wish he would fight at UFC. (hopefully he does in the future)

    Well either:
    1. UFC creates featherweight division.
    2. Faber moves up to 155 lbs.

However it seems Zuffa's plans are to have WEC with the Featherweight and Bantamweight divisions.

I've been watching Faber highlights all week. That story is crazy...I already love the guy.

Are there any particular fights I should look out for?

Did you guys watch the fights tonight?

Thank god it was on HD. I came back form work at around 9:40, and basically caught half of the fights. Kimbo won but looked so tired at the end, he couldn't even breath when he was being interviewed. lol

Can't wait for tomorrow. (or later on today haha)

Just got back from the fights and without seeing any re-plays yet my conclusion is that Elite XC sucks.

Kimbo tapped out when he was in the guillotine choke in the 1st round. They purpiously didn't drain Thompson's ear before the fight so Kimbo could punch it if he was losing and have the fight stopped.

After being poked in the eye they stopped the Scott Smith/Robbie Lawler fight... I mean com'on! He got poked in the eye, had time to let it fell better, THEN they stopped the fight. Stupid!

The best fight was between two girls, go figure.

And I'm really tired of Phil Baroni.

Overall it was fun though. I had a good time.

Through the CBS feed it was easy to see that Kimbo looked over at the ref, gave him a thumbs up and told him he was ok.

...don't know why he felt he had to do that, though.

OK, that makes it a little better.

Yeah about the ear, that was the first time I've seen it that bad in a fight.

But Thompson was KOed, and was ready to go to sleep when the referee stopped the game. You can see it in the replay, he doesn't even know where he is, and even pushes the referee. lol

Maybe I just shouldn't talk until I've seen it on TV, huh? [IMG]

    That ear was horrible though.

Thompson had no business in the cage with his ear in that state. What the hell?

From that fight, you could see that Kimbo won't make it that far in MMA. On the ground he sucked, and without it you won't be successful.

Anyone wanna guess who's next for him?

Well wasn't this Kimbo's first real test in the cage? His other fights only went a matter of minutes, right? He is still a rookie..I'm not saying he is going to be the best ever, but is it too early to count him out? Now that his weaknesses have been exposed, can't Bas work on them more?
