If the rumor is true and McHale really wants to draft Love then wouldn't it make sense to trade with the Clipper's. Minnesota can offer up the #3 pick and the Clipper's would give up the #7 thier 2nd Rounder (#35) and give back Minnesota's conditional pick they still hold from the Jaric deal. The Clipper's can draft Lopez as Brand insurance or even Bayless or Mayo (lime-light baby!). And Minnesota get's three high 2nd rounder's they can use to trade for another lottery pick and pick up Love with the #7 and maybe a Westbrook or Augustin, to help with thier PG issues, with the other pick link: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Word-o...innesota--2898/
3 high second rounders aren't worth that much in a trade up. However, with the T-Puppies needing to add talent, that many second rounders would be good. I remain confident that McHale will find a way to screw up this draft for the team.

And yes, your right...McHale is already starting to just by mentioning Love when he has a chance to get a player like Mayo that has great upside and can sell tickets.
