Why do they need Love when they have Swift, Nachbar, Krstic, Boone, and Swat? Will he be a significant enough upgrade over all of those players to pick him?

They don't have Nachbar or Krstic yet and the other three guys are nowhere near the scorer Love is.

Love is a post threat... are any one of our bigs a post threat? not really. he is also a big body that we can throw on other big bodies and someone that can set solid picks.

This trade is essentially trading #7 for #10 because Marcus Williams is a nothing without absolutely no value. It would be nice if the Clippers were that foolish. Btw, Jack is 950 times the player Williams is.

Jack is an energy off the bench
Marcus does not have any energy

Jack hustles and dives for loose balls
Marcus always seems like hes tired

I'd say because Jack plays with more energy he's more valuable than Marcus.

The only advantage of marcus is that although he turns the ball over, he seems like a good passer.

Marcus isn't as bad as everyone makes him sound.

But there's no way he's worth moving up 3 spots. If we combine 10th and 21st, we may be able to move up to 7th or 8th. Marcus isn't worth the 21st at this point.

agreed... people around the 10 spot don't really intrigue me...

Forget Love. I would Love to get Darrell Arthur at the #10 pick.

Him and SWAT patrolling the paint would make anyone who wants to drive to the basket on us think twice. I think of all the players around the 10 spot, he's the best.

Here are my top choices at #10 pick:

    1. Darrell Arthur
    2. Russell Westbrook
    3. Anthony Randolph
    4. Danilo Gallinari

how can you have arthur ahead of randolph... arthur isn't that special to warrant above randolph and love. You say him and SWAT may make people think twice about driving to the basket but both are undersized to guard the howards / boozers / amare's of the league. We'll have no low post defender. Arthur's blocks and Love's are comparable so its not like he'll be that much more of a factor. Love addresses two of our biggest needs... a low post scorer to run our offense around and a low post defender. Arthur just adds to our weak frontcourt in terms of defense. If anyone i'd pick Love or Randolph just because randolph is still young and has a lot of talent.
