<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Philadelphia Inquirer - The Sixers are looking to improve upon their league-worst three-point shooting attack by taking a sharpshooter in June's NBA Draft, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. General Manager and President Ed Stefanski is taking a long look at prospects like West Virginia's Joe Alexander and Arizona's Chase Budinger. However, if both are off the board he'll have to decide between Chris Douglas-Roberts of Memphis and Brandon Rush of Kansas. "We need a shooter, we need a [center or power forward], and maybe down the line we need a point guard, too," Stefanski said Tuesday. "This draft is deep enough that we think we can get the best player available and pick for a need, too." "I don't know if we'll get a guy who can step in right away, but we feel comfortable that we'll get a player to add to the team. With all of the young guys that we have, starting [in the rotation] right away may be difficult," he added.</div> LINK Yeah, maybe they could get a good shooter in the draft. Maybe they could trade cash or something for a good shooter that falls into the 2nd round of the draft. That'd be pretty cool.
LOL that's a perfect use of the Stefanski pic. I like this interpretation rather than the usual evil-mastermind connotation. What really did it for me was Stefanski's quote about draft needs: a shooter, a big man, a center, and a point guard. Get outta town!

I think the real reason was to save money. Korver had like 2-3 more seasons after the 07-08 one. I think Girichek was expiring.
