David Price beats Pedro Martinez in Single A ball

    1st overall pick David Price beat Pedro Martinez 2-0 in Single A ball. Price pitched 6 innings 0 ER 9 K and 2 Hits. Pedro pitched 6 innings, 4 hits and 2 ER.

    In two games Price has pitched 11 innings 13 Ks 5 Hits and no ER. He also struck out A-Rod twice in a rehab game before he moved to Single A.

    I think Pedro threw all fastballs, or at least close to it. But Price is still gonna be a good pitcher.

    Yup, Pedro wasn't pitching to win, more like pitching to not get hurt.

    the Tampa Bay Rays are going to win 3 or more titles in the next decade....their farm system is 2x better than the next team and its already starting to produce at the big league level....they arent going away

    I'm worried about after that. Hopefully, they can field large enough crowds that they can pay their players. Good thing they're locking them up through arbitration.
    I went to a Rays game two years ago. Seats were cheap as hell (20 for a lower level seat, and a special buy one get one free promotion for bringing in a newspaper). Enjoy it while you can, Tampa fans!
