This was far from a great game. The only "great" part of this game was the last 6 minutes, otherwise, it was pretty ugly. The Lakers have really hurt themselves now though. They HAVE to win the middle three at home if they're going to win this one. They HAVE to play some defense while they're at it. Their defense was putrid tonight. Leon Powe should not have 21 points. Kobe should probably be defending Paul Pierce while he's at it. He has absolutely torched the Lakers so far, and if they're going to slow him down, Kobe is likely going to have to defend him. The Lakers absolutely have to take advantage of the homecourt though now. They have to tighten up on defense and find a way to get to the foul line. Kobe might have to pull a Dwayne Wade though now. He's going to have to put this team on his back if they're going to win this one.

Celtic fans, enjoy your great moment while you still can. Because Kobe ain't going nowhere. Three straight wins for the Lakers are not too far ahead.

Pulling a Wade means getting a bunch of extra calls, we didn't even get that against the Spurs.
Go Phil! Immediately criticizing the refs. Ha, Leon Powe, by himself, shot more FTs than us. Fucking ridiculous.
I'm turning this into LG. Get rid of Odom trade him in the off season NBA Finals is fixed ref's were bought out? anybody know how much money they use to buy the ref's

Our team is good enough for Kobe to not have to go crazy, but it sure wouldn't hurt if he came out and dropped 40 in game three.

If the officials want it to be a physical game then let both teams get away with being physical. If they want to call it tight, than call it tight on both ends. But when they're letting the Celtics play physical and call the Lakers for tick-tack fouls it's complete bullshit. The 3rd foul on Kobe was crap when Pierce flopped. Right before Kobe ran into him PJ Brown gave him a shove to his back. It was right in the site line of the official and he completely missed it. Dan Crawford was atrocious tonight for both sides.

Lamar Odom didn't pay any attention to him and kept flashing for the double team leaving Powe all alone 2 feet under the basket. Odom wasn't coming from the blind side like he did in Game 1, and it was an easy pass right to Powe once the offensive player saw Odom coming at them.

I just want to rip the hair out of my head .. This is the worst officiated game I've ever seen and it upsets me to the point I feel sick. I still can't fathom what just happened
