I still think the Miami-Dallas was the worst with the DWhistle free throw marathon.

Have to agree because of the larger body of work.

This series is turning into Miami-Dallas part two. The Celtics have show what, 66 free throws in two games to the Lakers 27?

Lakers didn't shoot many FT last series, maybe it just the way they play. A finesse big man, and PF who likes to play in the perimeter.

it's not about stats, it's what what you can see with your own eyes. I saw the Lakers getting shoved left and right, getting hit, getting mauled in some cases .. KG even just said 'the officials are letting us play' .. meanwhile, on the other end, touch fouls, touch fouls, phantom fouls etc...

We don't need Bynum to beat the Celtics.

Boston's front court has punished the Lakers. Walton sucks.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Moo2K4 @ Jun 8 2008, 11:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>This was far from a great game. The only "great" part of this game was the last 6 minutes, otherwise, it was pretty ugly.</div>

That's because your team was down for most of the game. It was fun watching both teams having their moments. Those 6 minutes alone are better than the best 6 minutes of last years NBA finals. It was fugly.

I can't wait to see how the Lakers respond on Tuesday.

There are at least two more games left to eclipse that series..

I realize we're a finesse team, but it's still ridiculous. Kobe is attacking the hoop pretty consistently, but is getting nothing for calls. Plus, we played a physical team in Utah, possibly a more physical team than the Celtics, and got plenty of calls. What happened between then and now? We're not doing much different, we're just not getting calls.

Can't believe all the whining in this thread.

Just a question, anyone out there still think this series will end up in 5 games? lol

    I said either 6 or 7, and damn I was right, wasn't I?

About the officiating, the only foul I thought was wrong was the one on Kobe, where he was being defended by Ray and he knocked him with his arm to be able to get the ball. I don't think that was a foul.

All the other calls were right, and there were a couple more that didn't get called at all, and how about the technical on KG? That was BS.

LA barely got the FT line against San Antonio and now against Boston. Blaming refs for both is just silly.

The frontline is playing extremely soft. And when they decide not to, they end up forcing the issue and get called for obvious charges.

Boston is a dangerous team. Their defense lets them be competitive in most games, and their ability to spread the floor and consistently shoot a high % gives them a great shot at winning games they should be losing.
Now LA pretty much HAS to win the next 2 games. If they go down 1-3 I severely doubt LA's ability to keep their composure for 3 elimination games.

I only said 5 games in order to make the death more painless for your team. Now we'll have to do it slowly, that's harsh.

Utah doesn't even come close to being more physical than the Celtics. I'd put the Pistons, Cavs, and Spurs ahead of them. Even the Hornets play more physical.

As for Kobe attacking the hoop consistently, are you sure you're watching the right series Moo? It's on ABC, if you didn't know.
