<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>But no one mentioned the Lakers, who outside Kobe and Fisher, are a very young team, with little to no experience in the playoffs. That's one of the reasons why they're losing.</div> I actually thought that would be a reason why they wouldn't make it out of the west (along with not having Bynum in the paint). I thought they'd get to the 2nd round, the Conference Finals at best, but they really shocked me when they made it to the finals

He's the most athletic of the three, and thats a big reason for his scoring, rebounding, assists, etc. He's not a pure shooter like MJ and Kobe are. And I don't think he'll ever become one. Of course he'll have some games where he'll go nuts, but not on the same level as the other two.

You can say he was looking for open teammates & they missed the shots, but wouldn't that be the time where Kobe just needs to take over and dominate the game? He didn't and couldn't because of the Celtic defense. Instead he finished with 17 points on 6 of 19 shooting. So yeah, Kobe will never be as good as Jordan because one game or not, MJ wouldn't have let that happen. He would have taken care of home court advantage and done everything in his power to win that game. And Doc out coached Phil, which is another reason I think they were able to come back and take the W.</div> Wow, long time no see Ice! Welcome back! And I disagree, it wasn't Kobe's fault that the Lakers choked. Last I knew, it was a team game, and he wasn't defending every single player. Last I knew he wasn't the only one missing shots either. You can blame it on him, but when you blow a lead that big, the loss goes on everyone.

You don't have to do anything if the Lakers win. Yeah when we win, it's only cause they had an "off" night. Sure... The Celtics really blew us out on their homecourt, oh no wait.... Sorry if I doubt the clutch abilities of KG but I do.</div> Seriously man the Celtics have owned the Lakers all season long. KG and Pierce won't have that bad of a game again collectively. Odom and Gasol will, because they've shown consistency in the sucking dept. this series. You've had "2 quarters" where your offense was clicking and it both of those quarters the Celtics were flat as a diet soda left open for 3 days. And KG isn't clutch, but with Pierce manning up and living up to his nickname, and Jesus coming down from calvary and kicking ass, there's no need for him to be Mr. Clutch....all he has to do is hold the fort down defensively and do a decent job on offense. Sorry if I doubt the big game abilities of everyone on that team outside of Kobe and D. Fish. </div> You've proven nothing to me with this except that the Lakers have serious issues, and that they're in a bad position right now (pretty obvious). Not that you should be 100% guaranteeing a Series clinching game on Sunday.

Kobe did play poorly, he was missing his jumper and he barely attacked the rim until the 4th Q. He shot 6-20 which is under 33%.

The assist number doesn't tell the whole story. If someone is being a playmaker and they get 40 possessions with the ball, and his team scores on 15 of them, and he gets 10 assists. That isn't being effective as a playmaker. Kobe was handling the ball a lot, Marbury could get 8 or 9 assists every game, but doesn`t mean he was the most effective playmaker. Kobe just wasn`t aggressive, until a few plays in the 4th, and just didn`t put the energy into it.

Well, there's about a 60% chance of them winning Game 5 at home. They have about 30% chance of winning Game 6 at Boston because historically they haven't done well there, while Boston has. And they have about 15% chance of winning Game 7 because of all the reasons for Game 6, plus Celtics already had 2 Game 7s and survived them. So mathematically speaking, 0.6 * 0.3 * 0.15 = 2.7% chance.

I'm gonna watch the game at the same place I watched it for their only win....it was the only time I watched it outside of my gf's house lol [don't blame me]
I ain't watching. I've been feeling sick, and I'm afraid if we lose, I'm gonna barf. At this point, it's a game at a time. IDC we have to go back to Boston. I just wanna win tonight right now.
