GOOD SHIT SASHA!! I can't BELIEVE Laker fans are hating on Sasha for taking that shot talking that bullshit about "RESPECT" There was no reason for Parker to shoot his 3, so why is Sasha's any different? I'm so glad he shot that 3 and made it for all the LAKER FANS WHO BET WITH THEIR HEART, and made sure they didn't lose their money. PROPS MACHINE!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (pegs @ May 30 2008, 12:19 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Five.</div> What's five mean? Anyways, Brian, the spread opened at -8 but ended at -7.5, so Sasha actually won people money! I LOVE THAT SHIT BRO....Parker had no reason to shoot that 3. Do you know how many people were happy when Sasha made that 3? You'd be surprised how many people bet on the games and how many people bet with their heart. I'm just real happy, and I didn't even have any money on this game! It's a shame that some Lakers fans are just too fuckign stupid to realize the situation. Shape knows sports betting, he knows what I mean.
It was classless. The Spurs were respectful all series long, even after they got fucked over with the no-foul call in game 4. You don't do that to a team of veterans like the Spurs. Sasha has done nothing in this league, minus half a season. He's still young and needs to realize that you don't do that. Shots like that is how you get a target on your back. Just run the clock out and celebrate. Is it a major issue? No. But it was a classless move by a standard role player in the league.

I'm enjoying this though, haha I'm seriously wondering if Sasha bet on the game...or had friends who bet on the game...
Man, you're trippin dude. Parker could have dribbled the ball out, but he didn't, he shot the 3 for no reason? Be consistent. And stop ****ing using the word classless. Not just you, but Laker fans are ****ing obsessed with this word. THe same ones that use it are the same ones that bood the Spurs when Jerry West said to applaud them.. And I was pissed off at that, that was lame, there was no reason to boo them.
It's different when you're down in a game, and when you're up. When you're down, it's just closing the gap. When you're up it's trying to run the score and embarrass the opponent. C'mon bro, that's common sense in the sports world... It was classless, there is no other word to describe it. And yeah, I was pissed when they didn't applaud the Spurs.
Guys. You just won the fucking Western Conference Finals! You're going to the NBA Finals, and you'll most likely win it! No need for useless arguing, haha
Alright fine, pegs is right, I don't want to argue about a stupid issue. But, if you have ever sports bet (especially on the Lakers), you would understand Mamba, but since you don't, I don't expect you to.
I'm glad they booed the Spurs actually when West referenced them in his speech. This was the team who got Kobe suspended for his "unnatural motion" by complaining behind the scenes, but telling the media they didn't have a problem with it. How about the Spurs tripping Kobe at the end of the game twice, after he blew by them off the dribble into open court? The game was over at that point down by 7 and less than 15 seconds left? If you had money on the game Sasha is either a hero or jackass for you after making that shot. As a Laker fan I could careless, it's all about enjoying the moment and looking forward towards the NBA Finals!

Actually the whole post was truth, you're right, they have been really cheap behind the scenes. I was actually telling my boy to take Kobe out with 34 secs left. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN. THen the next play he got tripped up, haha.. Luckily, he was ok.

Nets fan. But, when they're not in the playoffs, I'll root for any team that's exciting and interesting. Lakers fit the bill, haha. And they just beat the Spurs!
