The youngest Net ever was Clifford Trent Robinson (not Uncle Cliffy) who was 19 in 1979. ...And that is why the Nets will not be bringing three rookies into camp.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nets brought all three rookies to camp and traded away Boone and both Williamses for more veteran talent. Depends how much Kiki has to do with things. None of those guys were his picks and these rookies, and the players traded for, would be his guys. Doubt it happens... just throwing the idea out there.

But I could see them using the D-League more than they have in the past (well, to be honest, using it AT ALL would be more than they used it in the past), especially if they draft another big and don't unclog the current logjam at the 4/5
I also wouldn't be surprised if we drafted a European like Koufos, Ajinca or another with the 21st pick and looked for someone like Bill Walker or others with the 40th. Better to grab the European that is going to be great but cannot come over yet, then waste it on some college kid just for the sake of a pick. The second round seems deep with guys who can fill in a 12th man role for us and maybe even get more time.

He may only do one outstanding thing and that's shoot lights out from deep, but every team needs a guy like that on the roster even if he spends most of his time as the 11th or 12th guy on the bench. Shooting specialist is one of our needs right now so might as well fill that hole with the best shooter in college basketball. I see him being the next Kyle Korver. I can't think of a free agent out there that can fill that spot.
I too am intrigued by Foster in the 2nd round. I've only seen him play 2-3 times, but I definitely liked what I saw.
he's done fairly poorly in predraft exercises so far. If Hudson lasts to 40, I'd rather him, he could actually be a better shooter.

I heard Foster is not doing well at Orlando, but I think that's just nerves. The guy has shot lights out his entire career so I still give him a shot.
He'll be there at 40 and 45. He is older. He has had character issues. He played for a small program...and Ty Lawson took him to school yesterday. And Kiki has SPECIFICALLY said the Nets might draft a Euro and stash him overseas. Pekovic and Tomic have both recently signed multi year contracts with Euro teams with buyouts. Gogi Dragic, the Slovenian PG, might want to play immediately. Koufos is born and bred in Ohio, was Mr. Basketball in Ohio. His mother was born in Greece so he used the opportunity to play in the European U18 Championships for Greece last year and dominated, winning the MVP, just as he won MVP in NIT this season. If he isnt satisifed with his NBA deal, he has statnding offer to sign with a Greek team. He is also the second youngest player in the draft, after Randolph.

He grew up in Ohio. </div> But he has strong interests in signing with an European club and has played for Greece. I say let him sign his two to three year deal and bring him over.
