<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arsenal's injured striker Eduardo da Silva could make a miraculous return to action as early as July. The news comes after the Croatian suffered a broken left leg in a horror tackle with Birmingham defender Martin Taylor in February. Even in March, the foward had thought it would take up to 15 months to fully recover from the injury. But Eduardo - who has been recovering since mid-April in a clinic in Rio De Janeiro - has now brought this date forward, which is sure to please manager Arsene Wenger. Eduardo told Croatian sports daily Sportske Novosti: "I am returning to Europe from Brazil at the beginning of August, perhaps even the end of July. "Doctors tell me by then I will be fully recovered and able to play football again. I hope so too. "I'm feeling well and my rehabilitation is going better than I would ever have hoped." Eduardo's injury means he will miss Croatia's Euro 2008 Group B campaign against Austria, Germany and Poland. But he has backed his team-mates, who accounted for England in qualifying, to do well in the tournament. "I think the boys will play very well without me," Eduardo added. "They'll get through the group and, after that, we'll have to wait and see."</div>

Wow Good news for Arsenal. Can't wait to see him back in action.

That's awesome, I felt so bad when he got injured. It reminded me right off about Busst's injury way back with Coventry. If you're not familiar with that, check for pics if you have a strong stomach. Thankfully this one for Eduardo isn't a career ender and I think that's thanks to the quick thinking medical staff of Arsenal.

I can See what you mean with the Comnparisons. It would be interesting to see if in Modern Times (I know it's only been like 15 years since Busst) He could have recoverd like Eduardo did. Arsenal have probably the best Medical staff in the COuntry. When Eduardo's Leg break happened he knew that when in Shock people often revert back to their native language. Eduardo started Panicking in Portugese and he knew Instantly what to do. He radio'd for Gilberto to come on and Translate. If Gilberto hadn't done that Eduardo could have done even more Damage to himself without even Realising it. Gary Lewin is also the England Physio and has been for many years. He's also a life saver. When Terry and Diaby Collided (Diaby's foot and Terry's face) Lewin sprinted onto the pitch and pulled JT's tongue out of mouth.

Too bad he couldn't return before the Euro 08, and then Croatia would have been the favorites.

    Great news for Arsenal though.

Maybe not the favorites but they would have been a lot more Dangerous.

Well to me at least, I would have called them the favorites with Silva. Without him, they might still win it but they lost a lot of fire power.
