This thread is a catch all for food and beverage discussion. Have a restaurant, recipe, beer, wine or mixed drink recommendation or comment? Then this is the place for it.

I've tried Apple Cider, it was nice. I'd definitely recommend it.

Yes I do, especially in the summer.

I recently got my wife hooked on Strongbow

I've tried it, and thought it was gross. I'd rather stick to regular beer.

I mean, uh, I go to church every Sunday, go 5 mph under the speed limit, study 24/7, always follow the law, and never do any bodily harm to myself

I used to like cider, and I still like some, but ever since I had some farm-made stuff I've stayed clear of it. I was being sick for 2 straight hours after drinking the stuff. I still like strongbow, though [IMG]

Didn't know Ben Gordon posted on S2. BG Lavine is gonna cream himself.

Anyone in California who can get their hands on Great White beer, I would highly recommend it. Its a great lager, lots of flavor and smooth and light to drink. A bit expensive but I love it. Here's the commercial description:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.</div>
That part always cracks me up lol. I don't think they actually mean weed but its funny. Its definitely citrus-y and a joy to drink for lager fans. I'm not too big on dark beers.

I got turned on to Strongbow fairly recently. It's awesome, and comes in really tall cans.

    Wow you don't negotiate.

Mixed vodka drinks taste the same no matter what brand you use, that's what I keep hearing.

Now if you're trying it straight up, and I don't know many people like that, then you will notice a difference. Not necessarily a "higher quality" one though.

They might taste the same, but you won't feel the same the next day if you drink the crappy stuff.

I saw a recent 20/20 report bashing Grey Goose's taste. Thought you might be interested in knowing that.

Lol, I mix but with only good shit. Grey Goose is shit. I drank that stuff when I was starting out. I won't spend less then 80 on a bottle of vodka. When I get drunk, I want the stuff to be high end.

I don't really understand what the difference is if you can't discern one brand's taste from another's...
