<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Optimism is all well and good, pessimism not so good, but skepticism always has great value. So is a good retrospective. We take a look in our latest off-season report on how the Nets did the last time they had a great set of assets, the summer of 2005…such a disaster you couldn’t turn away. We also take a look at just how young this draft class is and advise the Nets how Boki and Gogi might make a matched set.</div>

"Gogi" sounds nice - maybe we should give him a chance. Seems worth the risk.

Oh yeah, and I'm still bitter about letting Scalabrine go. Now look at him - he's in the Finals!

    Ah, McInnis

The man with more spellings of his last name than positive contributions to the Nets

Good work, NI. Nicely researched and suitably painful to read (but only for the content).

Somebody explain to me why Kiki provides a semblance of hope

He passed on Arenas (who wanted to go to Denver as a FA) and would have taken Darko over Melo if given the chance

Lets hope he's learn from his mistakes. He's done a great job imo since he's been here though.

Dont forget that terrible contract he wasted on KMart. Probably the dumbest move he's ever done in his career. But this Darko over Melo accusation is news to me.

Boki's friend seems pretty interesting. I watched some videos of him in the Euro last year and he does look promising with those long arms and quick speed.
