Nelson said the new action plan came out of meetings of the Warriors' basketball staff, led by executive vice president Chris Mullin. Nelson said he couldn't speculate what kind of impact this new Warriors order would have on star guard Baron Davis, who is weighing whether to opt out from the final year of his deal, passing up $17.8 million in the process.</div> Contra Costa Times
yeah this is good news. it's about time because we haven't had anyone in the rooks or sophs game since monta and that was because he did it pretty much on his own. before monta, i'm pretty sure it was mike dunleavy jr in his soph year.
I'll believe it when I see it too. I don't see how much Wright and Beli can really hurt by comparison. Last years starters managed ugly losses to Chicago, Charlotte, Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, Indiana, LA Clippers, Minnesota, and others. The Warriors need some young blood to bring hunger when the veterans are in a mood to mail it in, which is almost every other game.
