Though he is positioned akward in most mocks (between our 10th and 21st pick), I've seen some videos of him lately and he looks like a taller version of Anthony Randolph. He has the outside range but also suprisingly a lot of foot speed most likely due to his weight. If we are picking DeAndre Jordan, who I'm a fan of, why not grab this guy instead since he seems more NBA ready. Your thoughts?
Jordan and McGee are probably the players I want most for the Blazers out of the players projected to go around the 13 pick.

I like Joel, but he is older than our core and I don't see him as being our backup C for the next 10-15 years, and I want somebody who can grow with the team at backup C. Westbrook could be nice, but is he a SG or PG? People say he can play PG, but he was a SG in college. If he is a SG, we have no use for him. If he is a PG, we could use him, but I really like Koponen from what I have heard of him, and I also like Sergio from what I have seen of him in the little time he has been given to perform.

You know what I meant. He looked more polished than Jordan Offensively... But honestly i cant tell you since i havent since Javale play an entire game... SO who knows.
He would have a sweet nickname too. We could call him "The President" because he looks a lot like Barack Obama.
from the way he was shotting during pre-draft camp he can be called Ba-rick Obama as well....lol The President is better though....good sh*t
You do have to wonder why a 19-year-old 7-footer who has a 7'8" wingspan, great athleticism, good moves underneath, three point range and NBA lineage isn't in the mix for the upper lottery. This is the second time I have looked at these highlights and both times I have been struck with how complete he looks. Does not compute that some of the mocks have him at #20 to #25. On pure potential, he is top 10. What's wrong with this picture?

Didn't impress me, showed no fire, no hustle, looked like he just didn't care. His jumpshot is UGLY too.
