    Well that's a bitch.

If he does leave, hopefully United will get >£75m for him (or equivalent if players are exchanged) so they can get Daniel Alves, Karim Benzema plus a replacement at the winger position to complement Nani and Giggs.

    Yup.

If they can get the rumored $100 fee though, plus what they have are pledged for SAF this summer... it could mean brining in several big names too.

Id like to see them go out and grab Bentley, Benzema, Sergio Ramos (maybe in as part of a player swap; or Micah Richards; or Alves), and Ricardo Quaresma.

I don't see it as too much of a bad thing to be honest. If they get max pounds then they can purchase plenty of top notch players. As Chingy wrote with Daniel Alves and Karim Benzema (if available), but for the wing replacement I highly recommend they chase the young Mexican winger Andres Guardado. Obviously he's not an equal replacement for Ronaldo, but he'd be a solid enough one. If they pick up the other two in the process then they won't have much to worry about.

I saw it coming. After winning the champions league final, now Ronaldo feels that he has done everything possible with United and its time to move.

If I'm United, I take the money from Real, which will be a record breaking deal, and then use it on Benzema, and other stars available out there and come back 10x stronger next season, and stick it to Ronaldo when you meet him in CL again. lol

But yeah, I hope they keep him but I honestly see him moving.

Finally, how about Dinho guys? I know he's not getting any younger, but IMO is still the best player on universe, and can do things that Ronaldo can only dream of. Why not try and get him, since Barca is willing to sell him.

I think it is a huge blow for them. Without Ronaldo they have pretty much nothing running for them in midfield. Unless they get some big names. KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF FABREGAS AND NASRI!
