<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Kevin Love’s decision to work out for the Nets seemed odd. The other teams he’s auditioning for have much higher picks. HoopsWorld says one reason why so many higher picks are Jerseybound: The Nets have told agents they want to move up but the writer wonders if this is just a ploy to get more players in the gym? Meanwhile, the Nets are expected at a workout Sunday for French PG Rodrique Beaubois.</div>

Ummm...I still dislike Love. The talent's there, but he just doesn't seem like a guy I'd want on my team.

Just off of reading his DraftExpress profile (link provided at the end of the paragraph), Rodrique seems like he'd be an intriguing 2nd round pickup...to at least think about.

Just curious, but why is Love a guy you wouldn't want on your team?

I didn't like Love when I watched him play a few times. He's talented, sure, but he seems lazy, and his defense really bothers me. And I don't really remember seeing him pass out of the post that much.

Also, I really don't like what I keep reading about him.

Anyways, I keep reading we need a good defensive big man. So we're getting Kevin Love? That's like saying you want a good point guard, and then going out and picking up Stephon Marbury.

He's not a premire shotblocker or anything but I wouldn't knock his D im he plays pretty solid D. As for lazy, I get why you see it b/c in college he just looked like a chunky white guy who would outlet to start the break but not really run it. But, he's far from lazy. He seems to have an incredable work ethic dropping all that weight and really improving his athleticism. Can you imagine him rebounding and outleting to a sprinting Devin Harris for a quick 2 before the D can even react?!

Wouldn't it be nice having someone on are team that is able to get the ball in the post and actually not have to pass it out like the rest of our bigs?

Kevin Love doesn't solve our defensive problems, but he will give us a low post option as well as a three point threat, the kid can stroke it.

I agree with Pegs Im not too crazy about us using our 10th pick to get K Love.

All a team has to do for Love is double team in the paint. Then, either he'll put up a shitty shot, turn the ball over, or pass it on the perimeter to an open teammate who will most likely brick it.

I think, offensively, a perimeter shooter is much more of a priority. And the likelihood of picking up a wing player good at shooting and defending is much greater at 10 or even 21 than picking up a big man good offensively and defensively.

Most interior players have those three options when they're double teamed, you can't do much better than find the open teammate. Which Love does very well, especially for a big man.

Considering all the big men in the draft aren't impressive at all (especially when looking at the "best" big man, Brook Lopez...), yeah, I don't want a big man. But still, I don't want love.

I don't want Donte, either, for the record. His attitude is far worse than Love's. Wish him all the luck, though.

I agree on this. The Nets have the chance to greatly improve the bench at SF, SG, and/or combo guard. The options among big men seem to be riskier.

Love has decided not to work out for the Nets. he is moving up quickly...no need to work out for #10.

I don't like Love either but him at ten isn't horrible. If we traded up for him I'd be pissed.

Damn really? I thought the whole reason he decided to workout for us in the first place was because we have 2 first rounders and could trade up. Damnit I really wanted K Love..

W/e atleast we aren't the Grizzles who are having trouble even scheduling players to workout for the b/c nobody wants to end up there haha
