wether it's just to see your fav fighters fight or a dream match up. What fights would you love to see happen and why? 1. BJ Penn vs Shinya Aoki - I would have said Gomi, but Penn has already dismantled Gomi. If Penn can face ground wizzard Aoki and win, there's not doubt he's the #1 LW and possibly the best p4p fighter in the world. Aoki posses some of the slickest submissions around, but Penn is great on the ground and great on his feet too. 2. Rampage vs Wand - Wand has decimated Jackson twice, but that was in the Pride ring and it was when Rampage didn't have such a great training camp. A rematch would either prove Wand has his # or Jackson has really improved. 3. Urijah Faber vs Kid Yamamoto - the two best 145 pounders in the world. I'd give Yamamoto the striking, but after Faber's last fight, not by much. Faber's great wrestling and Ground and Pound would win it I think.. Still it'd be one of the all time great matches. 4. Matt Lindland vs Anderson Silva - Matt's stand up has improved to decent, but his ground and pound and great control on the ground gives him the tools to be Silva. He's the only legit 185'er I think can beat him. 5. Patrick Cote vs Chris Leben - I like both of these fighters and I find them to be similar. Two hard hitting, hard headed strikers. They met in 2005 and it was a split decision win for Leben. Both have improved a lot so I think this would be a better fight. what are some of the fights you'd like to see?
Kimbo Slice vs. someone good. Lets end the charade right now. Sure he's a phenominal street fighter, but he actually lost the fight that put him on the map and he's not that great at MMA, and he's not going to be becaue he is so old.
well here's hoping they put him against Brett Rogers after Rogers created the fracus at the Elite XC post fight conference. I think he's legit enough to beat Kimbo. The only other HW that Elite has is Antonio 'big foot' Silva. the rumoured fight with the IFL HW champ Roy Nelson would be a good dose of reality too.
Hendo vs. Franklin Hendo vs. Liddell Soko vs. Shogun Shogun vs. Liddell Wand vs. Page III GSP vs. Silva
I love all of those, but Hendo would be destroyed by Chuck. Liddell's right is just so much better than Hendo's. I'm really hoping Shogun bounces back and looks like he did in his Pride days.
A Yamamoto v. Faber fight would be insane! I would also like to see GSP v. BJ Penn. Both fighters are at the top of their game, and it would be a good fight. Another fight I wouldnt mind seeing is Hendo v. Silva II. If Hendo can get a quality win or 2 early next year they should fight again next fall or something. I dont really know who else the UFC can throw at Silva that can have a legit chance of winning. Maybe if Liddell cuts to 185 or something....
No particular order. Diego Sanchez vs. Nick Diaz 2 The first fight was a flurry, it was nuts how many transitions there were and how much stamina both guys had. Both guys bring it, and are tough competitors. Wandy vs. Rampage 3 Right now Rampage is on top of the world, and I think it would be great to give him a chance to redeem himself in those losses to Wanderlei. As well who would be a better contender than a guy who has beaten the champ twice already. Penn vs. Florian - Penn really is a ground guy and submissions guy first and foremost, that is how he wins most of his fights. Beating Sherk standing up wasn`t a testament to his stand up game, it was showing Sherk`s disadvantage in height and reach (which was smart to do). Anyway, Florian likes to use elbows and has a good submission game Silva vs. David Loiseau (Obviously this won`t happen, because Loiseau isn`t in the UFC and hasn`t been winning much, but he is better than his recent fights have shown. His last 4 losses were decisions, and obviously he won`t win a decision against Rich Franklin, I know for a fact one of the other decisions was a BS home crowd decision where Loiseau was pushing the action the entire fight and did more damage.) Loiseau packs a lot of power, has a strong ground and pound, and strong kicking power. I don`t know how good he can fight the clinch, and Silva is good at finding submissions. It`s hard to think of who can test Silva. Gomi vs. Bruce Lee (ressurected and in his prime) I was reading a yahoo answers where people thought that Bruce Lee would dominate Rampage Jackson, Fedor, GSP, Crocop, whoever. But we know that weight class fights are what are used. So I guess Lee would fight in the 145 division. Unfortunately, this dream matchup will probably never happen.
I'd also like to see a Chuck/Jardine rematch...I am convinced Chuck took Jardine lightly. Houston Alexander vs Wanderlei Silva would be fireworks...Maybe Houston could get knocked out in 4 seconds instead of 8.

Unless Kimbo catches him on the right spot as Brock takes him down. I think a matchup that would work well for Kimbo is Andrei Arlovski. Arlovski would keep the battle standing, and he has more of a reputation at this point than Brock Lesnar, because Arlovski is a former UFC HW champ. I think that fight could go either way, Kimbo has more power, but Arlovski has more kicks and stamina.

I think that beating took a lot of spirit out of the crow and he's a lot more tentative since then. AA has been the same since his back to back losses to Timmy Sylvia. Nick Diaz vs Diego two would be awesome.
Cung Le vs Silva Robbie Lawler vs Cung Le Cung Le vs Jason Miller Rashad Evans vs Rampage Leasner vs Lashley Gina Carano vs another hottie in jello.
